Ginger Gibson reports:

Members of the Occupy Wall Street crashed a town hall being hosted by Rep. Ron Paul at Keene State College in New Hampshire today.

At the conclusion of his speech, a group of protestors launched into their call and response that has become emblematic of the movement, with one member shouting a phrase and the larger group repeating it.

“There is something wrong with this system,” the protesters concluded. “We are the 99 percent.”

The group spoke for less than a minute, with a handful of Paul supporters beginning to shout back at the end.

Paul chuckled when they were done.

“Do you feel better?” he asked.

But then he got serious, pointing out that he agreed with some of their concerns.

“The people on Wall Street got the bailout and you guys got the bills and I think that’s where the problem is,” he said.

Ever the statesman.

These fucking idiots are pissing me off, and the people here apologizing for them while spending more time supporting them than supporting Ron piss me off too. Ron handled it perfectly. Now, we better be ready for these children to fuck with the Iowa caucuses.

What fucking idiots. Protesting the only man who led the charge against the wall street bailouts. Didn't have much of an opinion of this movement before, but now I hate it.

Eh, it was just a minute of protest. Then they sat back down, or left.

Ron handled it perfectly. No harm, no foul.

Really don't need to get all wound up about it.

They've been pissing me off for a long time. Many of us have been saying this for a long time, but hopefully this gets some people to see just how different they really are from us. It's not just the media. It's actions that speak louder than words. However, I am glad Ron handled it perfectly, and he may have even reached out to a few people by pointing out why they system is screwed up. This doesn't mean the actions of the protesters are forgiveable, though. Ron is a politician. He has to reach out to people, not condemn them.

Which other politicians have they done this to? Why would they target one of the few honest politicians that truly understands the problem and actually cares about it?

We need them to do more of this. It'll make Paul look better to conservatives, and his courtesy and understanding won't alienate the moronic OWS'ers.

Iowans don't like to be fucked with. Iowans usually carry that big stick.
