Taxes are immoral and unnecessary, and should be abolished on the grounds that they are a violation of basic individual rights.

The foundational belief for anyone who supports individual freedom (and opposes slavery) is that individuals have the rights to life, liberty, and property.

Nice article, though to avoid reader confusion, perhaps the author should have clarified specifically taxes levied directly upon individuals without necessity, while being imposed in an indirect fashion, and referenced personalty rather than property. Also, perhaps, more-so referenced the conversion of an individual's capital rather than making robber and rapist analogies.
