I wrote the following poem while listening to this audio book by Murray Rothbard
II. Money in a Free Society
From the book "What Has Government Done to Our Money?"




"Transfer of Wealth: By Fiat"
or
"Inflation Blues" ~


halfway through
the nature of the scam
dawned upon me
very sophisticated
but needs to be explicated
to the general populace
Rothbard's description
of the free market
reminded me
of the dynamism of nature
the mosaic tendency
of plants animals
sun and sky
to endlessly expand and contract
in constant
harmonious flux
money
should be like this...

a living and vital
sound currency
that reflects
genuine worth

...unimpeded
by the
static interference
of
a cabal of cartels
or
serving only
vested interests

power brokers
of the elite
issuing by decree
fraudulent pieces of paper
false promises
and deceit
in the form of
worthless and empty
warehouse receipts!
