Plus made McCain look like a total jackass!
 
I doubt this will happen. I barely understood the question and I've been following this stuff. Most will turn off the TV and not do further research as sad as that is.
 
Yeah, I was disappointed that he asked a question so outside the comprehension of the normal voter. Most voters saw McCain dodging, but it didn't register because they themselves didn't understand the question. I was hoping Dr. Paul would follow it up with an explanation of what it was so people would understand.
 
I loved the question from Dr. Paul and it made McCain look like an idiot, unfortunately I suspect that it went right over the heads of most people. . .
 
I really don't think that question was intended to appeal to the average viewer. That question was for all of the msm financially minded big-mouths to get a hold of. That question will lead to not only more interviews, but probably more donations from the financial sector.

I would say that's one weakness Dr. Paul has...he knows so much that sometimes he says things that are too obscure for everyone to understand. I think that if he simply 'dumbed' things down a bit more often, more people would understand his views and support him.

I wish he had at least mentioned the term "Plunge Protection Team". It's sticks waaaaay better. It'd get Luntz's approval.
 
I have to tell you that my hubby & I aren't the most informed about economics, but it was blatantly obvious that McCain didn't know what on earth Dr. P was talking about in that question. We made it a point to come here to find out.

McCain looked ridiculous before Dr. P even asked the whole question - very deer in the headlights. We even exchanged high fives on that one!

I think McC looked so puzzled it will probably spark the interest of more than a couple of people.

McCain has almost no idea what economics is about. That's why he ponded it off on all his so called friends.. "Well, I know Joe Blow"
 
paul could have explained it to us!!! and then ask the question

it all goes back to paul's team not doing their duty to get paul ready to debate!!!

this was a preplanned question and he didnt deliver it!!
