Hello, everybody - I originally posted this in the PA subforum, but I realized that this really isn't solely a PA issue - what I'm actually looking for is some advice on how exactly to go about this. My home town has an air base - as a child, my dad would take me there to watch the planes take off. It's been closed for several years, and it has just been announced that they will be re-opening it as a drone command center.
I am looking to organize an "awareness protest", but realize there are probably some ins and outs I need to get familiar with first.
The base is on 611, a major road - am I lawfully allowed to walk up that road with the signs? Or can that be stopped as a "distraction to drivers"?
Any tips for a first timer? Any laws I should know inside-out, or literature I should familiarize myself with?
Lastly, anybody here nearby and want to help out?
