Ron Paul in Pittsburgh!

Ron Paul will be in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Friday August 3rd and will hold a rally for supporters.

Please come and hear Dr. Paul talk about freedom, peace and prosperity in the city that helped shape him in his youth and taught him the importance of family and work ethic.

The event will be held at the Four Points Sheraton North. The address of the hotel is: 910 Sheraton Drive, Mars, PA 16646. The phone number is 724-776-6900.

Actually, I've got to be in Huntington, WV early the next day for a wedding. Not mine, thank God, I'm too libertarian to get married.

Well the Pittsburgh snowball has already started rolling and from the 1st report you definitely DON'T want to get in its way!!

The RP machine will be there in mass production working some serious overtime.

We WILL show any and all that the LIBERTY does and will continue to exist.

ALL are Welcome so get in your cars, buses, campers, planes, trains, hot air balloons and/or boats (land yachts will do) and show up in MASS numbers.

Arrangements for discounted hotel rooms are available at various nearby hotels near the Sheraton Four Points (Cranberry Township/Mars, PA) which is the event location and is next to the major cross roads of I79 & I76 (PA Turnpike)

The bet right now is we can't get 2000 people to show 'LET'S LEARN 'EM A LESSON" as they say!

This is Dr. Paul's hometown region - if we don't show up here . . . well you know.

How do we get the media to pay attention? Mass numbers - caravans of cars buses and trucks, roller blades . . . whatever it takes- Just Do It - Plan on it

FYI to all, Bizman is an event management consultant who has done Reagan, Clinton and many, many, many other political rally events over the past million or so years.

He did George Carlin at a Pittsburgh show back when we were kids and I did roadie work for him, a couple of days I'll never forget. :D :eek:

He does the whole package...stage, sound, lights, mics, media outlet feeds, bike-rack security perimeters, etc., etc., etc.

As a Pittsburgher who RP delivered milk to when I was a toddler living in the 'Heights. I'll be following this event blow-by-blow, so keep me in the loop. I'll be headed to Iowa then, so I won't be able to make the show :(

What's the deal?

I'm within a reasonable enough distance that I could drive home afterward, but since it starts pretty late anyway, I'd just as soon crash up there.
 
Anyone living in Pa or around the northeast should get all their friends to come, even if they dont all support Ron Paul (Yet). :cool:

I just wanted to give you some direct information on the discount hotels.

I've been working to finalize hotel options for those of you wishing to visit Pittsburgh for the Ron Paul Rally. We have two excellent options available, both within a quarter mile of the hotel where the Rally will be held. When calling either hotel, tell them you are coming for the Ron Paul Rally to get the discount rate, and reservations must be made before Saturday, July 28, 2007. Any of these rooms can house four people comfortably and a maximum of five.

Our budget option is Motel 6. We have set aside a block of rooms for Friday, August 3, 2007, at a cost of $44.99 per night with no additional charge per extra person.
