Peter Schiff Video 7/9/11 -- Jobs, Jobs, Jobs

Just listened to this with a friend.

After it was over, here is what was said.

Friend - "Who was that?"

Me - "Peter Schiff, EuroPac, Crash Proof, Austrian Economist, Predicted Housing Crisis"

Friend - "I don't agree with some of the things he said."

Me - "For instance?"

Friend - "I don't think it would happen like he thinks it would."

Me - "Specifically?"

Friend - "I think employers would exploit employees"

Me - "Isn't that already happening?"

Friend - "Yes BUT, it would happen more with out laws to protect employees."

Me - "Would you like another cup of coffee?"

You should ask your friend if someone who is desperately looking for a job and is willing to work for less than what is currently the minimum wage is right now better off because he is not getting "exploited" but also can't get a job because no one can afford to pay the minimum wage for his skills?

And that's just one of many examples how people would gladly be "exploited".

Employers couldn't exploit their employees because their employees could leave.
