Guys, if this guy has primaried, then he can take the GOP votes simply b/c they will be inclined to pick the lesser of two evils(in their view, he is fine with an R- by his name).

And, special elections have very low turnout. And from what I hear, Maryland RPR's are pretty active.

Yes, the Republicans here WILL vote for us. This isn't a choice between a RPR and a neocon. It's a choice between a RPR and a liberal. If Peter gets turnout, Ron Paul will have someone like-minded to lunch with over the summer.

This would also show the GOP that the real message works if given a shot. It would be amazing to lose 3 special elections in a row in GOP districts, and then for the GOP to come back with a Ron Paul Republican as a winner in super-Democratic district.

I advocate contributing to his campaign. I have, and I am running my own campaign for congress in a district just to the north in Maryland. Mailers take money, phone banks take money, yard signs take money.

We do not need to raise a ton of money in races like this, we need a bit of operating capital. These candidates in Maryland sprung from the Ron Paul grassroots, we know how to be thrifty and effective with limited resources. Peter's 4th District presents an incredible opportunity to surprisingly take a district while our opponents are asleep and on cruise control.

A victory, or a good showing here would give a boost to other Ron Paul candidates around the country and certainly in the State of Maryland.
