Peaceful RP Supporters herded into a cage like animals

We need to make a forum for you and others who are running for congress. We can get Ron Paul in the white house but with out a ron paul congress it is no going to work.
I my self would like to run for congress and we will need to set up chipins for each congressional district.

..it's gratifying to see people become introduced to a little bit of what the old fighters have been struggling against for years. This free speech zone crap has been going on for years. Media blackouts have been going on for years. Ridiculing legitimate truthful concerned citizens has been going on for years.

Gratifying to see people waking up. I haven't been "awake" very long myself but the evidence of the fight is something everyone needs to be more familiar with. People are in prison as we speak for fighting for our freedom. They have been ignored for too long.

What is that quote I see floating around .. the best way to defeat tyrants is to force them to act like it.. something like that.

I was there. Later on we marched around campus. 99% of us did not go to the "Free Speech Zone". The Fire-Fighters against Guleiani did. They were upset to say the least. They were told if they left the "Free Speech Zone" that they would be arrested. They even gave us some slimjims to hand out for them through the Fence!!!

We instead chanted, "Ron Paul Revolution - Legalize the Constitution!!!" about 10 police officers approched the line of RP supporters on the left side of our line by the road (there were a couple hundred of us). 4 bike cops stood directly across the street from us, more police stood on the island in the center of the road.

A few told us to go to the "Free Speech Zone", knowing that we were not going to be herded a few more police came to the parking lot across from us - directly across from the debate.

Our RP supports with bull horns did a great job. We thanked the police for doing their job. Then the guy leading the chants - said "You look like a group of People who will FIGHT BACK- then Fight Back - answered by a huge RON PAUL" to much applause. Then said something like "You See that blue tower over there" (the blue tower was the enterance to the debate). To more cheers. This made the police very nervous. Exercising your 1st amendment Rights sure is fun.

We just continued peacefully supporting Ron Paul. Stayed outside of the "Free Speech Zone", then marched back across the road, 1/4thmi back to the enterance of the university. Met some un-friendly Huckster supporters, then we went back across Glades RD over to the local shopping center - which had RP banners Draped from many buildings, a stage and loud speakers for us to rally at. - Where Dr. Paul gave a speech after the debate.

This was my 1st encounter with a "Free Speech Zone" I though all of America was a free speech zone!!! I will not be herded.

Next time anyone tries to 'herd' any of you, ask them to show you the law that says they have that right. They won't be able to. All laws that contradict the constitution are not legally binding. (Of course, nowadays, the politicians and police could care less about that but it is true none-the-less.

As long as you are moving on the sidewalk and not obstructing traffic, etc. you have the right to express yourselves.

Without sounding rude but objectively speaking... "Free Speech Zone" sounds like the kind of terminology Nazis used back in their days.

This country is a free speech zone. If they don't get that, time to introduce them to the 2nd amendment.

LOL..not one of the sheep, eh?

Just be careful and remember Kent State. Please. Some of these "gulhogs" will not stop until blood is shed.

Just keep going down the line. until we get to the last one.

Try protesting at either National Convention and see how close you get to the arenas.

Remember NEW YORK RNC? The INFAMOUS NYPD arrested and held without cause, 1000's of protesters. A District Court Judge had to overrule NYPD/GOP/Mayors Office/GOVERNOR/FEDS... to either charge the arrested or let them go free... holding them for 3 4 days effectively eliminated any protests and GOP BlackEyes to the public.

Doesn't matter... the GOVERNMENT NEVER ABIDES by the LAW and when they are found guilty, the fines and restitution doesn't come nearly close to what SHOULD be AWARDED!

SAME THING with President 'BOMBS-A-LOT' at his Jan. 2005 Washington DC Inauguration and protester banishment/blockade, WASHINGTON DC PD, the SS (Secret Service) FBI, etc etc... they got a few bucks from either being illegally arrested or detained and not allowed to advance to the motorcade route to protest... but nothing worth having your CONSTITUTION RIGHTS VIOLATED!

If you look at the cost of "RIGGED RESTITUTION"... it's chump change to the effective imagine that would of been protrayed protesting the BUSH's ride down PENNSYLVAINIA Ave., etc. Nothing for the Media and TV viewers to truly see... GOVERNMENT PROPAGANDA CENSORSHIP 101. COST EFFECTIVE and WE the TAXPAYERS are forking the BILL for these government political policies!

lmfao.... Stories like this make excellent discussion points, with terms such as the "free speech zone".

I think it is important for us to 'educate' all of the military and police friends, relatives, and acquaintances that each of us have in our lives - with regard to the fact that the Constitution is the supreme law of the land and they took a vow to defend and uphold the Constitution - not a tyrannical government. The seed must be planted in them that the government is a servant of the people, not the other way around.

In fact, I think it is our duty to bring this up each and every time we encounter them.

I wonder if someone has made a easy to follow video about educating those who are supposed to be in service of the people. If not, then someone should. We could make a copy for every one of them to watch.

I think for starters I like a video called "Overview of America" from: jbs.org

It at least explains the purpose of our government. That should wake up a lot of folks to understand why we don't like it when they push us around and tell us what to do.

Did anyone get photos or video of the free speech zones? How about of the cops? Anything? I would love to see some of that on YouTube.

Dean Santoro...bless your heart and all Dr Paul supporters in Florida. Just stay safe and unarrested all of you!!

So if that cage is the Free Speech Zone, what does that make the rest of U.S.A.?
It's only a little cage. Are there more?
