We had a rockin' turnout for our caucuses here in Spokane. All the hard work since last May has paid off! We're still waiting to see what the entire state does, but Paul took Spokane with a clear majority of 46% with 90% reporting. There's nothing better than seeing all the other candidates with 20% or less. :)

We've heard good things for Eastern Washington as a whole...let's hope those liberal leaning "republicans" on the west side fall into line.

Do we have an idea of how many votes that high percentage translates to? And do we have any idea if these votes have been added to the current total being reported by the Washington GOP?

Well good old Spokane. Fantastic job by all you committed wondrous hard workers. Thank-you many times over!!!!

It looks like about 0.4% of all registered voters in WA voted Republican today. So, the number of votes will probably be something like (# of people in Spokane)*0.4%*46%, or .00184*(# of people in Spokane).

I have no idea if they've been counted yet or not.

So assuming the percentage is 0.4% of Pop that voted, heres what we get as an estimate:
1787 Total Voters
822 Ron Paul
357 Mike Huckabee
268 John McCain

And assuming that the votes have yet to be counted... which is a huge if...
3331 Ron Paul
3285 John McCain
3179 Mike Huckabee

But right now we really have no way to tell whether these votes have been added or not, its absolutely possible that they have already. But I thought I would throw this out there as a possibility to consider until we get more conclusive info on where the votes that have been counted are coming from.
