A lot of people have been furious at Twitter for a while, which really started with the banning of Alex Jones and then Donald Trump and all the censorship in between.
The latest victim of this censorship is Marjorie Taylor Greene, US Rep from Georgia.
However, what less people know is how something like this happened, and how Twitter has become so anti-free speech when its founder and longtime CEO, Jack Dorsey, was one of the more libertarian-leaning folks in Big Tech.
Enter Paul Singer.
As soon as his group got involved, they kept pushing to have a new CEO, replacing Dorsey. Once this happened, Twitter was lost:

While they were hush about what they wanted in the new CEO, it is fairly clear what that was because we see what has been accelerating rapidly under the tenure of the new CEO, Parag Agrawal.
Paul Singer is an Israel-first Never Trumper who wants control over what people are allowed to see on Twitter. This won't stop at COVID or a few Republican politicians. I'd bet the ADL is already getting involved with determining what is acceptable speech.
