Stay until the GOP nominates some one. If unfortunately it's not him and he has better polling numbers (say something like 25-35% among GOP voters by then) I would hope he'd reconsider running 3rd party or independent.

I didn't mean it the way I wrote it. I agree he should stay in to the end. I was only addressing those who think it over if he loses IA and NH. He definitely has the money and the support to pick up steam later and go all the way to the convention. I don't think any one candidate is going to string together a lot of victories. The race is wide open.
