Pastor Doug Wilson gives Christian/Biblical defense of Rand Paul on Civil Rights Act

wow

- well, I can't listen to it at work...so I haven't heard it...

Maybe he knew that a group of us watched him debate Hitchens in KY?!

I didn't realize how awesome this guy is. And to all those who have attempted to claim that he's a racist (like they did to Rand, right?) - he says racism is a sin... can't get much more anti-racism for a pastor to say it's against God.

problem is he wrote a book with the League of the South author, I haven't read it yet, but Amazon reviews seem to be less than happy with it (moreso than most books on an objective look of subject of the Civil War). I haven't read it but reviews make me not agree with it if what they quote is true.

"Southern Slavery, As It Was."

I downloaded the PDF and will be reading it to see what the deal is.

I love Douglas Wilson. One of my favorite authors/pastors around. His blog is pretty nice:

He's got stuff from politics to religion, global warming, postmodernism, etc.

I'm a secularist/atheist and none of that applies to me.

And I support Rand's CRA position.
