Looks like she is gonna do it too. Just heard Chris Wallace on Fox report her saying that.

Dear Mrs. Palin,

Thank you for your interest in applying for the position of President of the United States of America. We are eager to see you for an interview! Please be advised that, due to the world ending in 2012, we will be holding elections in 2011 as a precautionary measure. Please update all of your campaign materials and ballot-related paperwork accordingly.

The elections will be held in exciting and sunny Yemen, the country to which you should remove yourself immediately. This is to prevent the terrorists from attacking the candidates, since they would never suspect you are on their soil.

We look forward to an exciting 2011 Election-in-Yemen season!

Sincerely,

Board of Elections

She might run, but the debates will do her in.

But will they? If she just stood around and pointed the finger at Obama, and came across as "one of the people," she'd have a number of states already in her pocket. Disturbing, but true.

She will crash and burn in the debates

The lady can barely string a freakin sentence together:confused:

Right?

We need an alternative to Barack Obama that is acceptable to the masses, and she appears to be the frontrunner.

I think anyone with a shot, and the desire to run - should, including Palin.

She's qualified! I am too, according to the constitution. :D

I'm not old enough, and I'm sure some would question my viability (via Citizenship Clause) :p You're ahead of me, at least!

Wouldn't it be positive for us if she ran though? Ron Paul's supporters tend to be very loyal, and will vote for him regardless of Palin. She would likely siphon votes from other candidates, thus leveling the playing field, making it easier for Paul to gain momentum early on?

Absolutely. The producers know that people will tune in just to watch her implode, and they'll be more than happy to feed that obsession.

If the number of loyal voters does not change, then the results will not change. Dr. Paul wants to be the GOP nominee, which would mean beating Palin (unless she's third party). If the two main-party candidates are Obama and Palin, then Dr. Paul will suffer because of his "looks." In addition, it will just get him painted with the racist/sexist brush. This has nothing to do with policy, yet stupid things like this decide elections on a regular basis.

If she runs, expect a few defectors, too. "Palin is a viable candidate and she supported Rand; Ron has no shot!" will be seen more than once if that's the scenario. Not many, but a few, and Palin pretends to be at the helm of a groundswell of Conservative change... which takes many potential Ron Paul supporters away before they even know that's what they are.

I think she should've run for Senate, and be influenced by Senator Paul for a few terms before she runs for President.

If Palin runs it will be the end of Rons chances for the nomination. If she wins the election, in January she will shed her sheepskin to reveal her true neo-con colors. My biggest fear is many of the Tea Party members really dont want the same change I am advocating and most of them would settle for a Bush style presidency minus the Bailouts. She will give them just what they wanted which is the republican version of big government.

Dear Mrs. Palin,

No thank you.

Respectfully,
Your Country

We don't and we won't.

This.

When I saw this thread title I was hoping to get inb4 anyone posting something like this, but alas too slow.

Dearest Sarah,

I know it's nice to feel needed. And I'm sure many Republicans in the nation need you, just as some of them also need 1-900 numbers. But the fact is, the vast majority of us would like to see you acknowledge that Bristol needs you more, and show us you can have a positive impact there, before we are likely to trust you to see to all our needs...

I still don't think she will. She knows she's FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR too divisive (thanks mainly to the media) to be elected to anything now.

Oh goodness. We are we going to stop reading the tea leaves about what someone else might or might not do? That was the second dumbest thing we did in 2007 / 2008. (The dumbest was being suckered by the media into turning on each other early on and blaming this group or that group for Ron's misfortunes.

Yes Palin is going to run. She's already running. So is Mike Huckabee. Matt, you of all people show know this. They had a surrogate primary here in middle Tennessee. A Palin backed candidate went up against a Huckabee backed candidate and they BOTH lost to a no name guy that simply worked harder than everybody else in the race. Maybe recent history will repeat itself and Palin and Huckabee will cancel each other out when they run for president too. But we'll only benefit from it if we're working as hard as the no name candidate I was talking about. Personally Mitt Romney worries me more. It makes absolutely no sense considering that Obamcare = Romneycare, but he seems to be a potential front runner.

Divisive?
She knows she's FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR too divisive?
Sarah: Divisive = Split my shopping into two bags so each bag is lighter. :p

Seriously, she might actually know what divisive means, but...
...are you sure?
