  • New Partnership Aims to Transform Weather-Driven Decision Making: Palantir and Tomorrow.io are integrating space-based weather data and AI forecasts into Palantir’s platforms to enable real-time, automated decision-making across defense, government, and enterprise sectors.
  • FedStart Program Expands Tomorrow.io's Federal Reach: Through Palantir’s FedStart initiative, Tomorrow.io will deliver its AI-enhanced weather capabilities to government users via a FedRAMP- and IL-accredited environment, joining firms like Anthropic and Grafana Labs.
  • Enhanced Resilience Through AI and Proprietary Data: The collaboration combines Tomorrow.io’s satellite-generated atmospheric intelligence with Palantir’s operational AI, aiming to deliver hyperlocal, mission-optimized responses in logistics, infrastructure, and defense operations.

BOSTON - Palantir Technologies Inc. in Denver and Tomorrow.io in Boston have announced a strategic partnership aimed at integrating space-based weather intelligence into Palantir's decision-making platforms. The collaboration seeks to enhance operational readiness and resilience across sectors, including defense, aviation, government, supply chain, and infrastructure.

The deal brings together Tomorrow.io’s proprietary weather data with Palantir’s artificial intelligence (AI) powered platforms. The result, both companies say, will be end-to-end automated weather decision-making with hyper-local precision and minimal human intervention.

"By enabling the federal workforce to take advantage of Tomorrow.io while ensuring strict adherence to the compliance and security requirements for processing U.S. government data, we are excited to help increase productivity and efficacy across government," says Mike Gallagher, Head of Defense for Palantir.

As part of the agreement, Tomorrow.io will join Palantir’s FedStart program, which helps software companies scale within the government sector by offering their services in FedRAMP- and Impact Level-accredited environments. Other recent participants in FedStart include Anthropic, Grafana Labs, and Virtualitics.

Tomorrow.io CEO and co-founder Shimon Elkabetz emphasized the strategic value of the partnership, stating, "In the age of AI, whoever owns the data owns the future. Our partnership with Palantir unlocks a new level of resilience for the world."
