Operation Endorsement - lets help Rand Paul get some big names in his corner!

Rand Paul is going to need all the help he can get, and us grassroots supporters asking our own favorite entertainers, athletes, media personalities and politicians, seems to me a much more genuine way to approach them than the official campaign asking them for endorsements – and if the campaign does approach them at a later date, they will remember the legions of fans who had already broached the subject.

I think we need to focus on names that will help Rand Paul in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. Think Larry the Cable Guy, Drew Carey, Hank Williams Jr, Taylor Swift, Tim Tebow, James Dobson, Adam Sandler, The Rock, Willie Nelson, Chuck Norris, Steve Forbes, and Dale Earnheardt, Jr.

Republicans may decry Hollywood liberals that get involved in politics, but when it’s one of their stars - they don’t complain, they take notice.

I loved what Cyndezu from the Daily Paul did with an appeal to Chris Rock with a video back in 2011, but I’d really love to see videos like that geared towards celebrities with Republican primary voter appeal!


Think one person asking for an endorsement can't make a difference? Think again! The Rand Paul endorsement from Sarah Palin in 2010 started with a grassroots supporter too!

Ha. Don't count on Taylor Swift. And why would anyone want Larry the Cable Guy's endorsement? This is like when Romney got Jeff Foxworthy's endorsement. Who actually thinks his word carries any weight?

Chael Sonnen will probably endorse him but it won't really matter much.
