So I got my first 90% silver shipment from Moneychanger yesterday, here are the details:

I paid $1500 total.
Spot price on 2/15 quoted by Moneychanger as $17.098.
Kitco says spot price on 2/15 was $17.4 average.
Received: $119.4 face value in pre-1965 dimes.
Shipping: $22.00

So, if there are .715oz of silver per $1 face, I got 85.371oz. This gives a price to me (minus shipping) of $17.31/oz. Seems like a good deal.

However on Apmex today, $100 bags are selling for $1400. This is about $19.58/oz and $.20 under spot according to Kitco latest trade yesterday. Shipping is $20 for them.

I'm a bit torn here as I like supporting the small guy, but with the Monthly program Moneychanger has, I can never be too sure what I am getting until I actually receive it 2 weeks after the middle of the month. With Apmex, I pay immediately and know my price.

Any advice? Do people have a recommendation? I am also concerned a bit with paper trail, which initially led me to Moneychanger. Thanks

Can Anyone tell me if Apmex Sell to Canada? Im not sure they do because I read on there FAQ page that they dont sell internationaly , but it seems very odd to me a big company like that not taking oders and doing deliveries to Canada?

Anyone ordered from Apmex or know anyone that did who lived in Canada or is it a lost cause?

You may want to consider an EarthClassMail account. If you get the street address in Beaverton, OR there is no state sales tax on purchases.

For example, I purchased a MacBookPro and the state sales tax and recycling fee was about $275. If it is shipped to OR then those expenses are not included so the computer is nearly 10% cheaper.

There may be 'use tax' due if shipped from OR to another address and 'used' there ... but because there are so many places each with their own laws and definitions I do not think it is pertinent to go into that. Do your own research.
