RON PAUL IS BACK IN THE RACE!

The excerpt worth a thousand words:

Yesterday, our vice presidential candidate, Wayne Allyn Root, offered to step aside to allow Congressman Ron Paul an opportunity to serve on the presidential ticket of the Libertarian Party and move the agenda of Liberty forward.

On the surface, a simple offer was extended. In fact it was principled leadership at its finest.

Wayne Allyn Root showed his deep commitment to the principles of our cause. Without hesitation or regard to the effort, time and personal funds he has committed to the issues of freedom, smaller government, less taxes and the Libertarian ticket, Wayne offered to step aside to allow another leader to step up.

I could not be more proud of his actions and selflessness.

As America is hurling towards crisis on many fronts, we need principled leaders like Bob Barr and Wayne Allyn Root. We have no time to waste on anything other than spreading the message of smaller government, less taxes, and more personal freedom issues across this nation.

Barr's strange behavior could mean something even better! A mask to great surprise... O_O

He just asked to be taken off the ballot in Montana. Doubt he's going to accept the VP slot.

Where did you hear that RP turned this down? Why would he do that for? Oh wait, that's right this revolution movement is more important than one Presidential term. Still I think it would have helped out greatly with Bob Barr who I think I will vote for.

of course the freedom movement is more important than one election.. this is and has always been what this is all about....where have you been ?

And since we have been listening and understood this we don´t need to hear it, we know it!

No disrespect intended.

You might want to do some catchup reading right here in Grassroots.

If that's true it sure shows Wayne Allyn Root cares more about this country than himself and the attention he would get. Now, if Baldwin would do this, meaning Ron Paul changing his mind about running as a third party candidate, and all the other third party candidates join together, I really believe we would have a chance to win!!

Bob should have stepped down completely and bowed out of the race for Paul.... but RP still wouldn't have taken it.

You know if Barr wouldn't have missed Paul's third party meeting, most everyone here would be clamoring for Paul to accept the VeeP position.

hmmm

what i heard thru the lp is that even root is fuming over barrs actions on ron paul.
it is time to dump barr. barr is finished if i was root i would demand someone else on the ticket asap, not that i am a big root fan but he has to stand for lp principles and barr doesn't make the grade
