I just saw it on CNN, again. My local all-news station ran a puff piece on Paul this morning, too.

What's the deal??

We know it's not like they finally found out about his fundraising or support. They didn't suddenly see the light.

He's never been treated this good, and he's getting it from several places at once all of the sudden. Did he finally sell his soul? Does the media know something? What?

I know it's not the end of the attcks, but I can't see the point here. Is is maybe so they can renew the attacks after Iowa, pretending to never have looked very deeply? I feel like I woke up in another world today.

Perhaps they are all setting up a way to discount him later.

But! Even this good coverage for 2 days will help him in NH and the other states still to come.

They are making an attempt to preserve their credibility. If they don't do this everyone will wake up even sooner to what they are all about.

I have to say I am surprised by all the softball coverage of Dr. Paul lately. It is a nice change, but I have to wonder why all of the sudden. CYA seems reasonable but I would have expected it to come a few days before, not just right now.
