Dear Staff Members,
We at the Ron Paul Forum applaud you for your tireless efforts in this campaign. That being said, a number of us want to do more and feel as though we are being severely underutilized by the official campaign. A number of people have posted comments regarding errors in official press releases (ex. the Nevada Rally) as well as the failure to exploit media opportunities (ex. the Philadelphia Rally), the fault of which is better left undirected.
I offer you two main suggestions, which I am sure will be followed shortly by many other people's suggestions:
1) Always post official press releases and/or anything which will be seen by the public on the forum, and ask for input before submitting them. They can be corrected (if errors are present), and their wording could potentially be enhanced. This also applies to any upcoming events. Please submit a checklist of what details have been looked after, so that we can see if anything has been overlooked for the event.
2) Perhaps more importantly, make it someone's full-time position to look after suggestion 1, and to troll the forum for ideas (particularly under the "Official Campaign" and "Grassroots" sections) in order to gain more insight into what could be improved, as well as what people's great ideas are. You have the master e-mail list and are more capable of forwarding these ideas to everyone, even people who are not on the forum. Please send an e-mail at least every 4-5 days to keep everyone posted on upcoming events as well as great ideas from the grassroots campaign.
I hope that you do not take offense to my suggestions, and please rest assured that we only want the best for Dr. Ron Paul and his campaign. I have never been as passionate about politics as I am about Dr. Paul's campaign, and I don't want to see our country's last hope trampled by anyone. This is more than a campaign, it is, quite literally, a revolution!
Restore the Republic!
-Ken
P.S. I do give you kudos for e-mailing us about the need for funds now, not in 1 month (12/16). In regards to this, please immediately fix the glitch that has not been allowing ex-patriots living abroad to donate to the campaign, and please invest to make sure that the site can handle the traffic that is coming on December 16th.
