Sheriff Richard Mack is the author of book, The County Sheriff America’s Last Hope, and the former two term sheriff of Graham County, Arizona, who sued the Clinton administration during the mid-90s over the Brady Bill. - Larry Pratt
Larry Pratt has been Executive Director of Gun Owners of America for over 30 years. GOA is a national membership organization of 300,000 Americans dedicated to promoting their Second Amendment freedom to keep and bear arms. GOA lobbies for the pro-gun position in Washington, D.C. and is involved in firearm issues in the states. GOA's work includes providing legal assistance to those involved in lawsuits with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, the federal firearms law enforcement agency. Pratt has appeared on numerous national radio and TV programs such as NBC's Today Show, CBS' Good Morning America, CNN's Crossfire and Larry King Live, Fox's Hannity and Colmes and many others. He has debated Congressman James Traficant, Jr. (D-OH), Charles Rangel (D-NY), Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY), Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ), and Vice President Al Gore, among others. His columns have appeared in newspapers across the country. He published a book, Armed People Victorious, in 1990 and was editor of a book, Safeguarding Liberty: The Constitution & Militias, 1995. His latest book, On the Firing Line: Essays in the Defense of Liberty was published in 2001. - Debra Medina
Debra Medina was the recent Republican gubernatorial candidate recruited for her run by the grassroots for her hard work and honesty, “a true peoples’ candidate.” After the primary she founded We Texans in order to continue educating and working on the issues she campaigned on.
- Steve Baysinger
Steve Baysinger is the Chair, Tenth Amendment Center (Texas). The purpose of the national Tenth Amendment Center is to educate and activate Patriots to the meaning and purpose of the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution (“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”). Steve is involved in local and state politics (Bexar County precinct chairman; Citizen Lobbyist, etc.) and has written numerous articles to include, "The Empire Strikes Back…at We The People! (One Man’s Battle Plan)” a must read for anyone working within the liberty movement!
- David Simpson
David Simpson is the Texas Representative currently serving the 7th House District in the 82nd Legislature. Simpson was born in Lubbock and is a seventh generation Texan. He was Mayor of Avinger from 1993 to 1998 before moving to Longview in 2000. He is married to Susan, and they have seven children. Simpson is a Christian, and has published a Statement of Faith. He has been described as someone who "did exactly what he said he would do in his campaign and stood for limited government." Simpson filed legislation in the 2011 legislative session to defend travelers' dignity against offensive and intrusive groping searches of private parts without probable cause by the TSA or other security personnel. The bill, HB 1937, passed unanimously out of committee and then again out of the Texas House. It was coauthored by 94 other Representatives from both parties. However, it failed to be approved in the Senate after the Department of Justice threatened to make Texas a no-fly zone if the legislation passed. - Wes Riddle
Wes Riddle is the Director of the Texas Republican Freedom Coalition, a grassroots candidate for US Congress District 25, and the founder of the Central Texas Tea Party. He is primarily interested in building conservative coalitions, supporting limited constitutional government, states’ rights, federalism, and the Second Amendment of the Constitution. Wes and his wife Aida live in Belton, Texas where he publishes a weekly conservative column called “Horse Sense” in area newspapers and websites. - George Rodriguez
George Rodriguez became the first Hispanic president of a Tea Party when he was elected president of the San Antonio Tea Party in March 2011. Born in Laredo, Texas, and raised in San Antonio, George has dedicated his life to sharing conservative values with Hispanics. George was part of the 1988 Bush Presidential Campaign, and then worked for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as a special assistant and later as an office director. He was part of the Katrina Recovery Program as an anti-fraud compliance officer, and then worked for the City of San Antonio as a real estate director before retiring in 2010. He has served as the Harris County GOP Chairman of Outreach from 1999 through 2000 and continues his active leadership in the San Antonio Tea Party.
- Claver T. Kamau-Imani
Claver T. Kamau-Imani also known as “Apostle” Claver Kamau-Imani is the founder and chairman of RagingElephants.org a political action committee created to be an advocate for conservative-libertarian social, economic and political issues, and to educate and organize the electorate on and for conservative-libertarian ideals. Claver and his organization work to increase the conservative voting base through racial diversity. RagingElephants.org also acts as a counterweight to liberal organizations like MoveOn, Emily’s List, ACORN and Organizing for America and has a rapidly growing multi-state presence with operations in Texas, Missouri, Kansas, Ohio, Maryland, California, Rhode Island, and Virginia. Claver was the founder and former senior pastor of the Corinthian Christian Empowerment Center (CCEC) in Houston, Texas. He is a 5th generation Texan, grew up in Beaumont within a home of Christ, politics and civil rights. Both of his parents were active leaders in Democratic Party politics, civil rights, community activism, education, charity, and the Missionary Baptist Church. - Daniel Miller
Daniel Miller is the founder of the Texas Nationalist Movement. The time has arrived for Texans to stand up and take Texas back and the Texas Nationalist Movement is issuing the rallying cry. As part of their expanded outreach to connect with those people who want to help take Texas back from the clutches of a Federal Government drunk with power they are planning over the next year to connect with fellow Texans who want to see Texas as free and independent. - Jay Stang
Jay Stang is the Texas Chapter Executive Vice President of Oath Keepers. He graduated from basic training in the United States Marine Corps on August 2, 1996. He reenlisted in April 2001 after a brief separation, and was stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Mirimar prior to being deployed to Kuwait and Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom where he served as Platoon Sergeant. In March of 2004, Stang was transferred to the 7th Communications Battallion, and assisted with the US response to the tsunami striking South East Asia in 2004. On April 19th of 2009, he stood on the Green at Lexington, and for the third time he took the oath to support and defend the US Constitution with many of his brother Oath Keepers.
- Glenn Addison
Glenn Addison has spent his career as a self-employed businessman. In 1987, he started his own independent insurance agency representing the Farmers Insurance Group of Companies. He sold his agency at the end of 2001, after deciding to change careers and help families hurting from the loss of a loved one. Since 2002, Glenn has been in the funeral business. The Addisons own Magnolia Funeral Home in Magnolia and Addison Funeral Home in Spring, Texas. Glenn has been on the Magnolia ISD School Board since May 1997, and has served a total of six of those years as School Board President. In 2008, the Magnolia Area Chamber of Commerce voted Glenn its Citizen of the Year. Glenn and his wife Lorie married in May, 1983 and have spent their lives raising their children, being devoted to their community, their church family and various service projects there, operating their business and living a fairly quiet life. However, recently Glenn began to be especially burdened in his heart concerning the direction of our country. It is that burden to try and change things before it is too late that has driven him to seek the office of United States Senator for "such a time as this". - Jason Rink
Jason Rink is the Executive Director of the Foundation for a Free Society. He is a contributing author of "Ron Paul: A Life of Ideas" and the author of "Disciple of Liberty: Seven Priorities of a Christian Patriot." He has appeared as a guest on most all of the Fox Business Channel's. The Foundation for a Free Society is an organization dedicated to promoting the principles of liberty, personal sovereignty, private property, and free market economics to create a more free and prosperous society for all. Through multimedia production and educational conferences, they equip citizens and future leaders to understand and defend the philosophy of liberty for the next generation. Jason, a former Pastor, is passionate about liberty and has dedicated his life to writing, speaking, and teaching on these principles. He also host the #1 Libertarian radio show in Austin called, "Live Free Austin Radio".
- Phil Pepin
Phil Pepin is a small business owner and Constitutionalist. Executive Board Member of the Texas Republican Freedom Coalition, an organization created to bring reforms to the GOP. Phil has been a political activist for over 18 years. His experience includes coordinating major fundraisers for candidates and producing political radio ads. On April 15 2009, Phil was a guest speaker at the nationally televised San Antonio Tea Party held in front of the Alamo. “War On Economic Freedom”. Phil has written numerous articles on political issues and activism. A recent article "Restore Our Republic 2012" stands out as the blueprint for deep and meaningful comprehensive reform. It's a political strategy, deeply rooted in the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence using tactics based on Sun Tzu's Art of War.
- Tim Cox
Tim Cox Armed with a computer science degree from The University of Texas and M.B.A. from St. Edwards, Tim Cox has developed complex computer systems for the last twenty-five years. He has created software for a spy satellite, put credit card readers in gas pumps, and created innovative systems for one of the world's largest computer companies, Dell. He now aims to revolutionize the way we select our representatives. He lives in Liberty Hill, Texas with his wife of 27 years, and has two children, ages 20 and 23. - Ken Hoover
Ken Hoover has been active in the freedom movement since he was a teenager. First, he was involved in partisan political campaigns and political youth organizations. While in college and while serving as a youth leader for a major presidential campaign on his campus, he first met John Birch Society members. The rest they say is 'history.' After graduating from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Hoover served in various volunteer capacities in the Houston area. Subsequently he has represented the Society as a full-time field coordinator for many years in the central, south/southeast Texas, Hill country, and borderland regions of Texas. During the 2011 sessions of the Texas Legislature, he coordinated statewide efforts in support of anti-TSA groping and scanning legislation, state nullfication, and the withdrawal of Texas's call for a constitutional convention (con-con). He currently resides in Cypress, Texas with his wife Mary Beth. They have two grown daughters and two grandsons.
- Bill Moses
Bill Moses is a native Texan and has served as a full time minister for the past several years but currently works as a landman for an energy company. He's written several articles and newsletters, a proud member of Oath Keepers, and is active in the liberty movement here in Texas.
- Elena Chitta
Elena Chitta was born in Poland in 1939 at the beginning of WWII. She later survived 30 years in Communist Romania under the dictator Nicolae Ceauşescu. Her story is about the horrors of communism. Although not a trained speaker, Elena was willing to share her story at a local tea party where she received a standing ovation for her spontaneous speech. - Heather Fazio
Heather Fazio is the Executive Director of Texans for Accountable Government, a trans-partisan political action committee dedicated to bringing about a free and prosperous Texas where government is transparent, decentralized, and accountable. Her involvement with Texans for Accountable Government (TAG) led to putting an end to the Austin Police Department participating in a federally funded program training police officers to forcibly draw the blood of suspected drunk drivers on the roadside. From political novice to grassroots organizer, Heather's interest in activism was sparked when she began looking into the long train of abuses that she saw in our government. This led her to re-examine all federal policy involving, education, drugs, and domestic security.
- Kevin Southwick
Kevin Southwick served as Ron Paul's media director during Ron's 1988 Presidential Campaign. In 1992 in Houston, Texas, Kevin successfully fought against the City of Houston adopting a zoning ordinance by forcing the issue to a citywide referendum where zoning was defeated. Houston remains the largest unzoned city in the United States. Kevin has been the editor of two newspapers that carried a libertarian editorial stance. He works in the Information Technology industry and his own real estate management company in Houston, Texas. Kevin also performs his own songs and fingerpicking pieces by Doc Watson, Leo Kottke, and others. His collects and composes songs with the message of freedom and self sufficiency. A lifelong violinist/fiddler, he has played in many jazz and blue grass bands.
- Holly Tucker
Holly Tucker is an eighteen year-old “young country” singer/songwriter, from Lorena, Texas who has just released the fourth CD project entitled “Love Is What She Likes”. She was recently named Solo/Duo Act of the Year, and Female Vocalist of the Year, by the Music Association of Central Texas, and recently won the prestigious John Ritter Showcase, of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame, in Carthage, Texas, representing the Hall, nationally, in 2012. She is currently majoring in Business Marketing, Music and Entertainment, and minoring in Spanish, at Baylor University. She has presented our National Anthem at many civic, patriotic, and athletic functions.
