Obama takes on Rand Paul at White House Correspondents Dinner (VIDEO)

All I hear is a bunch of nervous laughter about what will happen when a real man is in the Oval Office. Laugh it up Obama and cronies, the real joke will be what history will remember you for. Rand must be doing something right to warrant a name drop.

Check out the 55 second mark to a minute o' seven.

That is illustrative of the press we have in this country.

When he laughs, they laugh louder.

I never heard Ron Paul's policy points get their profile high enough to be correspondence dinner targets.

Trouble is,he's just one from a production line.Rand should have stood up to the Bundy race baiting as he will have to anyway in 2016.Negro.

Heh.. Obama never mentioned Ron Paul once during 2012. Hahaha. Looks like Rand is making a lot of the higher ups in the establishment worried.

He was also mentioned at 4:58 in the the WHCD Veep segment:

i think the punk from N. Korea wrote this verbal vomit as a special favor to the King.

The arrogance and hubris of this man is astonishing. What an empty suit.

So the NSA / Feds aren't monitoring people? What a relief, thanks for clarifying it is only Rand Paul (supporters) and paranoid Colorado stoners who think that... and thanks for telling us that "those people" would be a problem.

Let me tell you something that I know about "those people"....

No, that wasn't the joke Obama made. The joke Obama made was even worse than that, because the punchline is that the "conspiracy theorists" were right. Haha, boy, how funny. The government spies on everyone. A real riot! Ohh hoho, haha, I can't stop laughing. It's about as hilarious as Bush's "where are the WMD's" joke.

No annual event highlights the gigantic chasm between the political/press establishment, and everyone else. They don't care about us. They don't care about our freedoms, prosperity, or our lives. They care about their satisfying their own egos, living out odd messiah complexes, and pursuing political goals that are anathema to American principles. Fuck 'em all. The joke is actually that a Correspondence Dinner exists at all.

Did Rand even take a stand for Bundy? Only statement I can recall is his response to Harry Reid about having a government who doesn't obey the laws is worse than a citizenry who doesn't obey the laws.

Then he said he disagreed with Bundy's "negro" statements.

Another stupid thing about this sound bite is he points back to this as being a long time ago "haven't seen a 180 like that since ..." then points to a recent event. Since a recent event?? Not a very long period of time. Pretty stupid place in the speech to insert a dig at Rand.

Then it is ROYALLY stupid for him to mock MJ legalization, his base has been calling for that for a long time, but THEN tie it to paranoid people who think the government is harvesting phone metadata? Why would he even bring that up? He is on the majorly losing side of that issue. His speech writer should be fired.

His delivery was awkward as well.
Long pause. Laugh at his own joke. Long pause. Laugh again.

And its creepy how the audience laughed with him, as if it was their cue. If you hate Rand I can see chuckling at the jokes but I can't imagine anyone thinking it was the riot that those attending the event thought it was.

So the basic points were to insinuate racism, and make fun of pot smokers. Talk about 180 degree turns. President Shoom now mocks marijuana.
