Ft. Leavenworth Billboard is UP! Oath Keepers to Rally There This Friday, Oct. 12, 1pm, and again on Saturday, Oct.13.
Oath Keepers' "The Tea Party is not the enemy" billboard IS NOW UP right outside the main gate to Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas
It was supposed to go up next week, but the billboard company put it up early and just notified us. Richard Fry of Kansas Oath Keepers, is on his way there now to take photos, which we will post on our site.
Since it is up early, we will hold a press conference and rally in front of the billboard this Friday, and again this Saturday.
Rally and Press Conference this Friday, October 12, starting at 1pm.

Please join us if you are within driving range, and forward this email to anyone else who may be able to show up, to help with a strong "boots on the ground" presence to get the message across loud and clear to Col. Kevin Benson, who teaches there at Ft. Leavenworth, to let him know what you think of his characterization of the Tea Party as a possible future domestic military opponent of the U.S. military, and to help us to reach out to the troops, urging them to honor their oaths.

Bring your patriotic signs (thanking the troops for their service, urging them to honor their oaths, urging them to "refuse to fire on Americans" "refuse to detain Americans" "the Tea Party is NOT the enemy" NDAA is Treason", etc. and letting Col. Benson know we consider him a modern "Red Coat"). Keep it clean, and consistent with our mission, but otherwise have fun with it.
We will also hand out outreach and educational materials to the troops on their way to and from the main gate of the base (dvds, brochures, pocket constitutions, etc). If you have pocket constitutions, please bring them.
Afterwards, you can go out for dinner and some beers with your brother and sister Oath Keepers to celebrate.

Ft. Leavenworth Sign and Rally Location:
Metropolitan Ave & N Broadway St
Leavenworth, KS 66048
The sign is on the south east corner of the intersection.
We will start at the location of the sign, but will then also have folks go to the entrance to Ft. Leavenworth, at Metropolitan Ave & N 7th St, Leavenworth, KS 66048
The entrance of the Fort is at a "T" intersection of Metropolitan (East west) and 7[SUP]th[/SUP] St (North south). There is a long entrance way to the Fort but that is the only place it goes. The Fort is north of the intersection.
The sign is located about one block west of the Fort entrance on the south east corner of the intersection of Metropolitan and Broadway.
