Norm Eisen: Central Operative in the “Color Revolution” in the US

Meet Norm Eisen: Legal Hatchet Man and Central Operative in the “Color Revolution” Against President Trump

In our report on Never Trump State Department official George Kent, Revolver News first drew attention to the ominous similarities between the strategies and tactics the United States government employs in so-called “Color Revolutions” and the coordinated efforts of government bureaucrats, NGOs, and the media to oust President Trump.

Our recent follow-up to this initial report focused specifically on a shadowy, George Soros linked group called the Transition Integrity Project (TIP), which convened “war games” exercises suggesting the likelihood of a “contested election scenario,” and of ensuing chaos should President Trump refuse to leave office. We further showed how these “contested election” scenarios we are hearing so much about play perfectly into the Color Revolution framework sketched out Revolver News’ first installment in the Color Revolution series.

This third installment of Revolver News‘ series exposing the Color Revolution against Trump will focus on one quiet and indeed mostly overlooked participant in the Transition Integrity Project’s biased election “war games” exercise—a man by the name of Norm Eisen.

As the man who implemented the David Brock blueprint for suing the President into paralysis and his allies into bankruptcy, who helped mainstream and amplify the Russia Hoax, who drafted 10 articles of impeachment for the Democrats a full month before President Trump ever called the Ukraine President in 2018, who personally served as special counsel litigating the Ukraine impeachment, who created a template for Internet censorship of world leaders and a handbook for mass mobilizing racial justice protesters to overturn democratic election results, there is perhaps no man alive with a more decorated resume for plots against President Trump.

Indeed, the story of Norm Eisen – a key architect of nearly every attempt to delegitimize, impeach, censor, sue and remove the democratically elected 45th President of the United States – is a tale that winds through nearly every facet of the color revolution playbook. There is no purer embodiment of Revolver’s thesis that the very same regime change professionals who run Color Revolutions on behalf of the US Government in order to undermine or overthrow alleged “authoritarian” governments overseas, are running the very same playbook to overturn Trump’s 2016 victory and to pre-empt a repeat in 2020. To put it simply, what you see is not just the same Color Revolution playbook run against Trump, but the same people using it against Trump who have employed it in a professional capacity against targets overseas—same people same playbook.

In Norm Eisen’s case, the “same people same playbook” refrain takes an arrestingly literal turn when one realizes that Norm Eisen wrote a classic Color Revolution regime change manual, and conveniently titled it “The Playbook.”

Just what exactly is President Obama’s former White House Ethics Czar (yes, Norm Eisen was Obama’s ethics Czar), his longtime friend since Harvard Law School, who recently partook in war games to simulate overturning a Trump electoral victory, doing writing a detailed playbook on how to use a Color Revolution to overthrow governments? The story of Norm Eisen only gets more fascinating, outrageous, and indispensable to understanding the planned chaos unfolding before our eyes, leading up to what will perhaps be the most chaotic election in our nation’s recent history.
...
A deep dive into Eisen’s book would exceed the scope of this relatively brief exposé. It is nonetheless important for us to draw attention to key passages of Eisen’s book to underscore how closely the “Playbook” corresponds to events unfolding right here at home. Indeed, it would not be an exaggeration to say that regime change professionals such as Eisen simply decided to run the same playbook against Trump that they have done countless times when foreign leaders are elected overseas that they don’t like and want to remove via extra-democratic means—“peaceful protests,” “democratic breakthroughs” and such.

Judging by the MSM and Democrat politicians, the election is already contested. Anything less than the Democrats taking the Whitehouse will not be accepted. The expectation is already set that there will not be any result from the election for weeks, and if all goes according to plan, for months.

Norm Eisen, Democrat Impeachment Counsel, Linked to George Soros

Norm Eisen, the counsel chosen by Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee to question “expert” witnesses Wednesday at its first impeachment inquiry, founded an organization funded in part by billionaire left-wing financier George Soros.

Eisen founded Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) before going on to work for President Barack Obama as the White House “ethics czar,” where he oversaw the opening of visitor logs (though administration officials simply responded by taking meetings with lobbyists offsite).

He was later appointed as U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic, and returned to take up a post at the liberal Brookings Institution. He was also a CNN political commentator until this year, and appeared on television frequently to attack the Trump administration.

Open Society Institute was an early funder of CREW, which quickly developed a reputation for left-wing bias. As recently as 2017, the Washington Times noted, Soros’s Open Society Foundations “donated $1.35 million in 2017.”

Emails Reveal Anti-Trump Lawyer, Pundit Briefed Democrat Governors on Resistance

A former counsel for the first Donald Trump impeachment—who vowed to file 100 lawsuits this year against the second Trump administration—was scheduled to advise the staffs of Democrat governors from across the country on how to defy federal policy, according to emails.

On Jan. 21, a day after Trump’s second inauguration, Governors Safeguarding Democracy scheduled a Zoom briefing titled “Day 1 EOs: What Govs Need to Know with Norm Eisen, Protect Democracy, and Immigration Experts.”

The Daily Signal obtained the records through a public records request with the office of Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont, a Democrat.

Eisen was the White House ethics counsel during President Barack Obama’s administration. Obama later appointed him as ambassador to the Czech Republic.

Eisen was later the special counsel for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee during the first Trump impeachment in 2019 over Trump’s phone call with Ukraine’s president.

Governors Safeguarding Democracy is co-chaired by Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker and Colorado Gov. Jared Polis, both Democrats. In late April, Pritzker called “for mass protests, for mobilization, for disruption,” because “Republicans cannot know a moment of peace.”

The Daily Signal reached out to Governors Safeguarding Democracy for this story on Monday and Tuesday but did not get a response for the story by publication time.

Eisen has been involved with several left-leaning nonprofits. Also participating in the scheduled conference was Protect Democracy, a separate litigation nonprofit not directly affiliated with Eisen that describes itself as “a cross-ideological nonprofit group dedicated to defeating the authoritarian threat.”

Eisen is the co-founder and board member of the State Democracy Defenders Fund, a group that says it works with “national, state and local allies across the country to defend in real-time the foundation of our democracy—free and fair elections” and “We help shape the long-term strategy to defeat autocracy in 2025—and beyond.”

The State Democracy Defenders Fund did not respond to inquiries from The Daily Signal on Monday and Tuesday for this story. Protect Democracy also did not respond to inquiries for this story Monday and Tuesday.

In February, Eisen said during an MSNBC interview, “The lawsuits we’re bringing, I’m planning 100 this year, 100.”

Eisen is a senior fellow with the Brookings Institution, a center-left think tank, which did not respond to email and phone inquiries from The Daily Signal on Monday and Tuesday by publication time.

A Jan. 10 email from Governors Safeguarding Democracy to numerous staffers of Democrat governors across the country said, “Below is a topline agenda and meeting information,”

It went on to list the “Common Interest Agreement” among governors on the agenda, and “Presentation on Day 1 Immigration Plans & Potential Governor Actions.”
...
“The briefing will be facilitated by Norm Eisen, Protect Democracy, and our team of immigration experts, and will focus on providing high-level overviews of those executive orders which Governors should be most prepared for,” the Governors Safeguarding Democracy email continued.

California riots are part of the latest color revolution...

From the tweet:
Imagine the nerve it takes after she spent four years destroying the lives of over 1600 J6ers who were there for 1A protected protests.

Mary McCord belongs in prison just as much as Norm Eisen. These people must be held accountable as they obviously feel invincible.

"When I am weaker than you, I ask you for freedom because that is according to your principles; when I am stronger than you, I take away your freedom because that is according to my principles." -- Frank Herbert, Children of Dune

Why shouldn't they feel invincible?

They know how to acquire and use power to get what they want.

That does indeed take "nerve".

That is why they have gotten as far as they have.

That is why they will go even further.

That is, in short, why they are winning.

By contrast, their opponents have (so far) been pretty spineless.

Even when those (so-called) "opponents" are in power, they often turn out just to be chickenshit appeasers.

Case in point:
