Did anyone else notice that in the Sunday interviews, no one asked Rand about abortion? It seems that Rand effectively neutralized that issue. Also, since even Chuck Todd admits that Rand is just as "testy" with men as women, the gender issue is neutralized. They can't use race because of all of his current activities and the number of blacks on the platform during his announcement speaking engagements. That leaves gay marriage and foreign policy...good job Rand!

good observation. we'll see if that trend continues...

i noticed after watching about 6 of his interviews, i could answer his questions exactly how he was...he's doing a good job giving the same answers for the same questions which is burning it into people's minds.

Neutralized it? He friggin' OWNED it!

That's why they didn't want to go back there. It would give him too much power right outta the gate. He almost did it again with Todd by asking Chuckie where he disagrees with his father, but then he let him off the hook.

Rand has been great at turning a perceived weakness into a strength - he needs to figure out how to do it with foreign policy. He's getting closer, but still not there yet. Putting Hillary and the Neocons in the same camp helped, but he needs to drive it home in an equally inescapable fashion like he did with abortion.

Once he does that.........
