As elections are approaching, old conspiracy theories about media (non controlled wing) narratives are resurfacing. Would even shady strategists/deep neocons cabal etc incite agitations/disturb peace just for the sake of influencing an election?
Many say , no.

Biden hits campaign trail, blames Trump for city violence

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Joe Biden is forcefully condemning the violence at recent protests while also blaming President Donald Trump for fomenting the divide that’s sparking it. He’s dismissing his presidential opponent as incapable of tackling the violence himself.
“He doesn’t want to shed light, he wants to generate heat, and he’s stoking violence in our cities,” Biden said during remarks in Pittsburgh Monday. “He can’t stop the violence because for years he’s fomented it.”
Biden went on to denounce rioting, looting and arson at recent protests.
“It’s lawlessness, plain and simple. And those who do it should be prosecuted,” he said.

Logically such theories make little sense considering that in contrast to 2016, 2020 data suggests that BLEXIT/LEXIT (Black/Latino) shifts are from Dems to GOP (thanks to more liberal GOP-MAGA wing stances on social justice, prison reform, civil rights,DACA etc.) and WEXIT (White) shift from GOP to Biden Dems.

The caravan of Central American migrants making its way to the US-Mexico border saw a notable decrease in media coverage after the US midterm elections, according to a Quartz analysis.
Thousands of men, women, and children originated from San Pedro Sula, Honduras, on Oct. 13 of this year, heading north. After one month of traveling—mostly on foot and some by vehicles—a portion of the first migrants have made it to the US-Mexico border, where they plan to seek asylum in the US. Many of the migrants still remain in the Mexican state of Sinaloa, 800 miles (1,287 km) away.
In the weeks before the Nov. 6 midterm elections, US president Donald Trump presented the caravan as an imminent threat. On Nov. 1, Trump appeared in a live press conference announcing that the migrant’s “violence” would be met with the mobilization of American marines. Attention from Trump and other Republicans helped drive the media coverage of the caravan, and cable news and newspapers either repeated the calls of alarm, or sought to ease concerns, withthe New York Times criticizing the President’s administration as a political strategy ahead of the elections.
As Trump’s attention was directed elsewhere after the election, so too was the media’s. An analysis of on-air use of the word “caravan” by three major cable news networks (MSNBC, CNN, and Fox) over the last month, reveal a significant drop in mentions after the US midterms.
Trump in private meeting with donors: “This whole caravan is a positive thing because it’s showing people how crazy it is”

President Trump spent months publicly railing about a caravan of migrants working its way up from Central America. His fear-mongering on the issue, relentless coverage from Fox News and a heavy ad campaign from the GOP amounted to the Republican Party’s closing message of the 2018 campaign. During this dinner, just months before those elections, he made clear he was privately cheering it.
