Governor Sununu signed a third medical cannabis bill in the last two weeks of June. HB 160 was signed on June 28th. The majority of the bill's sponsors endorsed Rand Paul when he ran for President. HB 160 started out as two different bills, but the NH Senate combined them into one.

This bill:
I. Adds certain conditions to the definition of "qualifying medical condition" for the purposes of the use of cannabis for therapeutic purposes law. [Makes it easier for people to be patients]
II. Deletes the requirement that a medical provider document how the injury affects activities of daily living. [makes it easier for every patient to get medical cannabis]
III. Clarifies the statements signed by applicants for a registry identification card. [Warns people about the federal language related to illegal substance use and firearms]
