Please check out this video. Shows the ridiculous use of force of our nation, and the terrible direction we are heading in. Has a lot of Ron Paul and Rand Paul clips in, as well as Judge Andrew Napolitano and the infamous "shutup!" speech by Senator Graham.

Good vid. Nice mention of the Reichstag Fire Decree. Americans should be outraged, but too few are. AAMOF, they're just about to elect and re-elect the despicable POS who support and/or passed these "laws!"

I was worried that the Hitler comparison would be too controversial, but the parallel was too perfect not to include. The point of the video was to show the evils of consequentalism, and how even though people thought that the Patriot Act was a "necessary evil", what happens when we continue to lose faith in principle for the sake of security is that we end up with notions as ridiculous as being able to assassinate american citizens. I'm glad you liked it.

Hey guys, could you comment on the youtube video so that more people will see it. All I'm doing is preaching to the choir if only people on the Ron Paul forum see it. If people make comments on the youtube page, it will show up much more.

It is what it is. Mullen made the same comparison today:

It is almost anti-climactic to point out that if you are not summarily executed by either a Romney or Obama administration, you may be arrested by the military without a warrant and held indefinitely without charges, recourse to a writ of habeas corpus or any appeal to an impartial judge. This provision is part of the last NDAA bill which the president signed and which Romney stated he would have signed as well. It is the law of the land.

So was the Reichstag Fire Act in 1930’s Germany. That did not make it right. Without exaggerating, that is where we are right now.

Some of the comments are pretty depressing under that piece.
