"Two-thirds of the public said that wealth should be distributed more evenly in the country. Seven in 10 Americans think the policies of Congressional Republicans favor the rich. Two-thirds object to tax cuts for corporations and a similar number prefer increasing income taxes on millionaires."

“People are unhappy with the way the country seems to be moving, especially when it comes to lack of jobs. Washington hasn’t even been concerned about that.”

Makes me want to print out billions of copies of that "The State is the 1 Percent" article for mass distribution

I could find any link to poll results. Is there one? It just looks like NYT release certain info to try to make the GOP look bad. Oh well. Typical.

I have a deep distrust of Herman Cain. By all accounts he is a banker's best friend:
1. Worked for the Federal Reserve Bank
2. Supported the banker bailouts.
3. Neutral on audits of the Federal Reserve Bank which last year revealed gross negligence.

And lets not forget he flip flops more than John Kerry, making him either indecisive or, more likely a chronic liar. There was really nothing to like about Cain now that I think about it. I'm not sure why I had an initial positive impression.

So, how do we spread the messages that, one, we must distrust the national media as much because they are fedgov lapdogs, and two, that Ron Paul is the only participant in fedgov that distrusts it as much as we do, therefore must be the only one on our side in this thing?

That is a strange article/poll.

The title and other things point out the distrust towards the government. And yet, various statements suggest people look towards the government as the solution and, in some ways, want bigger government.

So presumably, people have a distrust for the government, perhaps because of corruption, broken promises, and worsening conditions.
But they still look to government as the solution.

I think part of it is because they've been taught to be dependent, and part is because they are constantly being told what they should think, such as the part about taxing the rich.
