New Jersey - Don't Forget County Committee Voting

Many of the Republican County Committee slates on a NJ ballot are going to be listed as "No Petition Filed". As a Ron Paul supporter you should write in your own name (and perhaps have another person from your precinct do the same if you can - IE a spouse's vote) and you can actually win a county committee seat with just 1 (or better, 2) write-in votes.

I went through the trouble of getting a petition filled and I'm on the ballot for county committee running against an incumbant for the seat, however many of you will notice "No Petition Filed" at the bottom of the ballot for County Committee - DON'T LET THE OPPORTUNITY SLIP BY.

County Committee in NJ is painless, with only a meeting or two a year that you need to attend (when voting is held). County Committee elects a male and female from EACH AND EVERY precinct/ward/district in NJ, so there are a lot of them. By becoming a CCM you will be able to vote on the Republican County Committee Chairperson for your county - giving you the opportunity to help shape the Republican party in NJ.

So, whens the end of the filing period, how does one file? Which county/name are you? -- i'm sure there are some rpfers in your county.

The filing period ended 4/15, but if the slot is empty a write in can (and has in the past) won the seat. The precinct level for CCM is so small (a total of 173 voters for my precinct) that it's unlikely for a lot of other RP'ers to help elect me. For those who want to though I will be easy to find, as my competition is running under Romney's establishment slate, and I am running next to Ron Paul's slate on the ballot. Again, only 173 people will see my name if we have 100% turnout, this is why many seats go unfilled and why an unfilled seat (recognized by the 'No Petition Filed' label under County Committee Member) can be filled by even a single write-in vote.

The deadline to file has past, but if ANY Ron Paul voter see's a No Petition Filed under male or female they should write themselves in, or an opposite sex Ron Paul friend in the same precinct.

There are hundreds of CCM seats in each county in NJ, and collectively they decide the direction of the county's party and then the states party.

This may only be a grain of sand on the beaches of liberty, but every grain counts.
