New Hampshire adds hepatitis C as a condition for medical cannabis

On June 16, Republican Governor Chris Sununu signed SB 17 into law. The bill changes the law for qualifying for medical cannabis for those with hepatitis C from only those that are currently receiving antiviral treatment to everyone with hepatitis C. The only sponsor of the legislation was liberty Republican Senator Reagan. The Republican controlled House and Senate both passed the bill on voice votes without opposition. The act shall is effective as of June 16th.
