Neo - classical view of inflation...

Its been a while before I last posted on here, although I always keep up to date. Ive just been given an essay in my Economics class titles

"Give a critical account of the neoclassical theory of inflation and examine why inflation targeting became the main policy tool."

Now, any help with this at all or key points from some like minded individuals would be fantastic.
