The Hoosiers ( 18 - 14 ) avenge a regular season overtime loss in Iowa by beating the Hawkeyes ( losers to a double digit Big 10 tournament seeded team four consecutive years now ) this evening 95 - 73 while shooting 60 percent . I expect both teams will be invited to the NIT . Iowa also finishes 18 - 14 . Michigan St is currently 19 - 14 and may not make the NCAA tournament as well as Illinois , Iowa , Indiana and Ohio State . I wonder how long it has been since one of those 5 teams were not in ? Northwestern should get in .

Kentucky goes through to the next round, Alabama up next, Vandy plays Florida tonight. Vandy beat the Gators home and away this year. Should be a good game.
 
I think my Hoosiers went a combined 0 - 11 this season against Purdue , Wisconsin , Maryland , Michigan, Minnesota and Northwestern . Which are the Big 10 teams I expect will get into the NCAA tourney . No Seniors played this year ( had one , but was injured ) , I am not sure the underclassmen really learned what they need to move forward next yr. Rebounding and FG percentage were the strong points . Turnovers , Defense and Free throws large weaknesses .
 
Thanks! Overtime victory over Florida. Now I'm all superstitious and I'm afraid to change my game day ritual. Even if it didn't work for Green Bay in the playoffs or for Atlanta in the Super Bowl. Maybe it's just basketball mojo.
 
Butler closed out the season with two losses . They need to show up when the Tournament starts.
 
This will be Northwestern's first ever NCAA tournament . Vermont has 21 wins in a row .

Well , Coach K played at Army for Coach Knight which is about as close as I can get to hoping Duke wins . My HS Qb played at ND , which I guess is better .
 
Games I suggest are Creighton - Rhode Island , Maryland - Xavier , Dayton - Wichita State and Northwestern - Vandy .
 
I think my Hoosiers are at Georgia Tech tomorrow night for first round of NIT . We passed on the home game because all the students are gone for spring break . I think they should have taken the home game .
 
NCAA final four. I will go with UNC, Chevy Nova, Louisville and Notre Dame. UNC and Villy in the final game. THIS time, big rebounding prevails and UNC takes it all.
 
From 1980 to last year only in 2002 , 2004 and 2005 had Indiana or Ohio State not been in the NCAA Tournament . Indiana had made it to the Sweet 16 three of the past four years .
 
Georgia Tech Coach is personally purchasing tickets for any students that show up at the game .
