National Delegate Fundraiser MONEYBOMB - June 19 [Official Thread]

This is the official thread for the June 19 MONEYBOMB to help delegates with their GOP fees, travel and hotel costs to Tampa. All you have to do is donate to any of the following fundraising efforts listed below. This is important to help get our delegate to Tampa!

If you know of a chip-in, facebook page, etc, just post the link below, and I will update this post accordingly.

If we have vetted these people, then why don't we just float chip in threads instead of a money bomb?

I have no problem with delegate chip ins being in this forum. But the people should be vetted to some extent.

Well, I can verify all delegates list thus far (I was a delegate candidate for CD-17). How do you propose vetting? As far as having a moneybomb, it's just a fun community thing to take part in. Additionally, it's nice to have one single thread listing all fundraising efforts, making it easier for people to find out who to help (instead of endlessly searching on the forums or other websites).

Generally what I'm familiar with is people starting individual chip ins and stating their own case. Those who had obviously worked at getting the cost down and those who cost least usually filled up first, but I could see where a particularly high one such as from AK might need help most. They would say how long they'd been a Ron Paul supporter or why they supported Ron, etc. People might be forum members people knew or might be vouched for by one, or might have a facebook page or meetup page showing activity going back a while related to Ron or whatever.

In the end it is up to each donor to vett it to their own satisfaction, but we like at least for there to be some indicia of good faith.

Well, I guess it would help if delegates would post that they actually need help. I'm assuming by the lack of interest that all delegates are already well funded to cover the costs. oh, well. It would have been nice for the community to unite on this...

A couple of years ago, to get people to CPAC, someone set up some sort of Google ExCel sheet. Individuals still posted their needs and chip-in sites, but we kept track of things on the ExCel site, with a couple of people doing the updates. It was like a countdown, with info taken right from the chip-in sites.Maybe these could be organized by state or something, so a couple of people wouldn't be having to update for 500 chip-ins. Also, how would we maintain the anonymity of those delegates desiring such?

If Gunny were willing, he could vett them (nothing will be perfect, but the way we would here) and give us their numbers.

I would like some help! delegate from district 11 Virginia

can you post your needs and a chip in? With CPAC what happened was people would do the work to find good deals at places to stay etc and post what they needed and people chipped in. The fact that they were trying to keep costs down influenced me, I know.

Can we set up some sort of framework for this? By state? region? I'm pretty busy now with end-of-year grades.

Hi everyone, we are just starting to raise funds for 2 delegates and 2 alternates (1 at large delegate and 1 at large alternate) from CD31 from Texas. 1 of the delegates and 2 alternates want to remain anonymous. However Tony Hwang does not mind using his name publicly, was our 2nd ballot delegate who barely won running against our county chairwoman who had the Texas National Committeewoman's endorsement. A big victory indeed. He is one of our liberty coordinators for our city, with excellent credentials, who is helping to evolve the local gop to be more welcoming to liberty minded people.

Check out on ustream of our cd caucus for proof, as well as entertainment to see our Liberty candidate get elected despite the odds. It was on the 2nd ballot did we get our delegate in. Starting time of 1:20 to 9:39.

A business card size and 4x6 card size were made and distributed to our CD caucus delegates. We did not have the majority, so we had to swing votes from the middle.

I'd like to clarify -
1 Delegate and 1 Alternate spot gained from caucus votes. 1 Delegate and 1 Alternate gained from at large. These 2 delegates & 2 alternates are dedicated to the liberty movement.

Also wanted to add this link of all the National Delegates representing Texas.
