I'm a bit concerned about the fact that Lee Bright seems to be getting into the race with Nancy Mace against Lindsey Graham. Does anyone local to SC or more familiar with the demos there see an outcome where this doesn't split the vote and give the Senate seat back to Darth Graham?

i believe they have run-off

Bright has a good opportunity to get upstate votes, while Mace can gather support in the lowcountry. Bright can also get far more evangelical votes than Mace can. Cash will probably also bring in more anti-Graham votes.

One will be eliminated in the first stage of the primary. The most successful candidate, which I believe will be Lee Bright, can beat Lindsey Graham as all the anti-Graham vote will go to him in the runoff.

The Texas Senate primary had around 10 candidates, half of which had Tea Party links and support and a few others being strong social conservatives. The supporters of all these candidates rallied around Ted Cruz in the runoff, giving him a strong 13 point victory over the establishment candidate.

As much as the mainstream media has been pushing the "war on woman" meme in preparation for the Hillary run, it could help Mace too.

We have a good chance of forcing a run-off. May the better liberty candidate beat Graham in that run-off!

One thing that must not happen is for Mace and Bright to attack each other in any way during the Primary. I can't speak for others, but that would really piss me off! The goal is to defeat Graham, and Graham needs to be the focus of all "negative" campaigning. There is no shortage of issues to hang on RINO Graham's neck.

Is it possible for the run-off to result in an outcome where a dead split of the liberty vote would fall under the threshold?

SOmebody posted some polling in another thread that showed with only Mace, Graham went over the 50% mark. With Bright and Mace both in, he dropped to under 50% forcing a run off.

And then there was a fantasy that the run off would be between Bright and Mace.

I totally agree, there is so much ammo to hammer away at Graham that they don't need to undermine each other.

What would be best would be if Graham doesn't even make the runoff, but I don't see that happening. He is too clever and has too much money.
