Naked Man Protests TSA in Nakedest Way Possible

To protest what he feels is harassment from the TSA, John Brennan dropped trou as he went through airport security in the Portland airport last night. I mean, he got ass naked. There's got to be a better way to practice social disobedience.

You'd think Brennan might be going through some kind of mental snap or nervous breakdown. But witnesses at PDX said he appeared calm, and he told investigators that he stripped down in full view of other travelers as a conscious protest. Two screening lanes were closed as a result. Brennan was arrested and he's being held on $4,000 bail and is facing charges of indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.

True irony and excessive, overbearing governmental arrogance: After dropping his pants to protest being manhandled, groped and electronically stripped - all in the name of "safety" of course - the poor bastard is arrested, then thrown in jail where the intake process involves being manhandled, groped, and physically stripped. Again, all in the name of "safety" ..... of course.

Brennan said as he left jail Tuesday night that removing all his clothes was not premeditated. The frequent traveler who had heard of many TSA issues while on prior business travels was just fed up as he set off the detector at PDX.

"And the machine went off, and I asked what it was and he said 'nitrates' which I know from Oklahoma City is one of the explosive ingredients," said Brennan, "and I was not interested in being hassled so I took off my clothes to show them I was not carrying any explosives."

Brennan says he hopes his actions will start a trend.

"I don't think Americans can sit around and put up with this anymore. TSA needs to just do their job and not intimidate people."

I've opted out seven or eight times since Chertoff put his racketeering Rapscans in. Every time I get patted down people glance at me surprised like they're seeing a drug or terrorist bust or something. While waiting in line I think I've only ever once seen other people get patted down, a woman and what seemed to be her daughter. I've told a lot of people about opting out but even my own mother doesn't mind going through the Rapscan.

Some officers grope far more than others. I've had two where I could tell they had no interest in feeling me up and didn't make genital contact, but the majority of the officers touch my junk five or six times in a single gropedown.
