So glad you could crawl up from under your bridge long enough to ask.
First, we guarantee the brokered convention. This way, we aren't stuck with a candidate who polls in a lukewarm manner with die-hard party-line G.O.P. hacks, but couldn't win the general election against an illegal alien or, for that matter, an evil space alien.
Then we get petitions going in all fifty states to get Dr. Paul on the ballot with or without the G.O.P.'s blessing. That way, when Dr. Paul goes to the brokered convention, he can tell them that we put his name on the ballot without his permission, we will split the conservative vote whether he runs or not, and there's nothing he can do about it.
Then the G.O.P. has a choice. They can give up on running a neocon in the face of W's 19% approval ratings and a populace that is running 70%-30% against the war in an obvious bid to lose, or they can nominate our honest man of integrity. If they choose to purposely lose, the conservative rank and file asks themselves why over the next four years. If they choose to give themselves a chance, the G.O.P. gives the media no choice but to end the blackout, and the less motivated voters actually get to hear Dr. Paul's positions on the issues.
Be sure to run back to G.O.P. headquarters and tell them all about it, troll. I would say they're smart enough to have figured it out already, but there might be some there who actually think McCain can win. They need to hear, so they can think hard about whether or not they're patriotic enough to join us.
