So I don't know how many of you are into EDM, but Porter Robinson is a mainly progressive house/electro producer who is making big strides for his age. A while back a few videos surfaced of a new track from him titled "The State". These were all live videos and I came across one of them and was digging the song for sure.

Then I realize these words seemed familar. Too familiar. Then I realized I recognized Jeff Riggenbach's voice. And it all came together. Porter had sampled Riggenbach's audio book reading of For a New Liberty and used it for the song. Too. Fucking. Cool.

I asked Porter about it on his facebook shortly after to which he (surprisingly) replied with confirmation of my suspicions and that he was a self proclaimed an-cap/agorist.

Fast forward a bit and I was able to see him open for Skrillex in Charlotte, NC. He dropped the song fairly early on in his set and I was blown away.

This past week his EP containing this song was dropped so I was finally able to have a real version of the song and figured a good number of you on this forum would find this funny, even if you don't enjoy the music.

Here are the final 2 versions (one a SkiSm remix)

What does this mean? Probably not much. Without the prior knowledge I had, the connection wouldn't have been made and thus most people will probably just listen to it without a thought. But we can hope some will be exposed to the ideas of liberty in whatever way possible. He has a huge audience so it is bound to happen a few times.

Pretty cool. I don't think we will realize just how transformative an information outlet the internet is for a while. I think the printing press is going to pale in comparison. Nation-States are dying. Let them rot in the dustbin of history. I hope that we can spread the message enough for Natural Law societies to start to emerge and replace Nation-States.

I don't know if it was intentional or not but the sample of the breaking glass after the last build (4:23 mark) alluded to the broken window fallacy. :)

The first two vids were "removed due to copyright infringement". How ironic LOL :p
