NOTE: After WisconsinLiberty posted The New American's transcription of Javier Milei's speech at Davos to a thread of it's own, I decided the topic really does deserve a thread separate from the main Milei thread. So I've moved all the relevant posts from that thread to this one. Please make any new posts concerning the Milei/WEF/Davos nexus to this one. (I should have thought to have done this before - h/t WisconsinLiberty.)

I was really disappointed when I found out Javier Milei was going to the WEF summit.

Until I got a few minutes into his speech and he is just telling them that everything they are doing is wrong and fucked up and the "root of all the worlds problems".

He's a pulling a Gervais at the Golden Globes so far.

And he has just shit all over their socialist model and told them free market capitalism is the only way forward lmao.

I think he just trojan horsed them to shit all over their ideology to their faces but I am going to watch the rest.

He's now pulling out the stats and saying how from year zero to about 1800 global per capita GDP was at rock bottom and never increased during that time and the only thing that changed this was free market capitalism.

He is going HARD with the stats. The crowd is fucking squirming.

Also lmao.

WWx7WOe.png

"Free market capitalism and trade is the only way to end hunger and poverty across out planet, the empirical evidence is unquestionable"

Man is fucking railing everything the WEF stands for to their faces lmao.

"The state is financed through coercion."

Man said taxation is theft.

He's now explaining the basics of supply/demand economics.

Convenient since the WEF clearly needs to be educated on that.

He is now asking them why anyone can be against the system of free market capitalism which has a proven track record of lifting people out of poverty.

He is now talking about Libertarianism and telling the crowd it's core values.

Each core value is something the WEF is against.

He said there are those who seek to undermine everyones freedom for their own personal power and condemn to world the poverty and stagnation.

He didn't point any figures but it's clear he is talking about the WEF, I think he is being careful so he doesn't get pulled off stage.

"It should never be forgotten that socialism is always, and everywhere an impoverishing phenomenon that has failed in all countries where it has been tried out"

He's fucking nuking them.

He is now describing how market failures are almost always caused by state regulations and interference.

The WEF wants complete totalitarian control of the market.

"Whenever you want to correct a supposed market failure, inexorably, as a result of not knowing what the market is, or as a result of having fallen in love with a failed model, you are opening up the doors to socialism and condemning people to poverty"

Schwab is sweating.

"All that base feminism radical agenda has led to is greater state intervention, to hinder the economic process, giving a job to bureaucrats who have not contributed anything to society, examples are international organisation committed to pushing this agenda"

He is cleverly talking about everything the WEF stands for without naming the WEF.

He's now talking about how neo-marxists have co-opted all of our institutions.

His closing statement.

"Do not be intimidated either by the political class or by parasites who live off the state, do not surrender to a political class that only wants to stay in power and retain its privileges."

"Do not surrender to the advance of the state, the state is not the solution, the state is the problem itself"

GOD DAYUM

Speech finished. Yeah he completely trojan horsed them. He spent the whole time shitting all over the WEFs ideals and goals without outright naming them (maybe worried about being yanked off stage). Even breaking out empirical evidence to prove that the economic model the WEF wants does not work.

This was amazing, especially after seeing Klaus Schwab shidding and farding about "the dangers of libertarianism" just a few weeks ago, Javi goes into his house and starts preaching it.

Full translated speech is here.

[see the video embedded above - OB]

Javier Milei is who Klaus Schwab is talking about.

And Milei just walked into Schwab's own house and threw it right in his face.

I composed the following table Just for shits and giggles (and whatever else it might be worth).

In only 5 hours, Milei's video already has more views and more likes than any other video from the WEF event at Davos so far - and it's not even close. (I've already had to update the numbers before finishing this, and I'm sure they'll continue to climb.)

Some excerpts from Javier Milei's speech at the World Economic Forum's Davos meeting.

(Milei delivered his remarks in Spanish, of course, so an interpreter did simultaneous translation. That means the text I'm quoting from is choppy and imperfect, but it's good enough to give you an idea of what was said.)

"Good afternoon. Thank you very much. Today I'm here to tell you that the Western world is in danger. And it is endangered because those who are supposed to defend the values of the West are co-opted by a vision of the world that inexorably leads to socialism and thereby to poverty.

"Unfortunately, in recent decades, motivated by some well-meaning individuals willing to help others and others motivated by the wish to belong to a privileged caste, the main leaders of the Western world have abandoned the model of freedom for different versions of what we call collectivism. We're here to tell you that collectivist experiments are never the solution to the problems that afflict the citizens of the world. Rather, they are the root cause....

"Given the dismal failure of collectivist models and the undeniable advances in the free world, socialists were forced to change their agenda. They left behind the class struggle based on the economic system, and replaced this with other supposed social conflicts, which are just as harmful to life as a community and to economic growth.

"The first of these new battles was the ridiculous and unnatural fight between man and woman.... All that this radical feminism agenda has led to is greater state intervention to hinder the economic process, giving jobs to bureaucrats who have not contributed anything to society. Examples: ministries of women or international organizations devoted to promoting this agenda.

"Another conflict introduced by socialists is that of humans against nature, claiming that we human beings damage the planet, which should be protected at all costs, going as far as advocating for population control mechanisms or the bloody abortion agenda.

"Unfortunately, these harmful ideas have taken a strong hold in our society. Neo-Marxists have managed to co-opt the common sense of the Western world, and this they have achieved by appropriating the media, culture, universities....

"The case of Argentina is an empirical demonstration that no matter how rich you may be or how much you may have in terms of natural resources, or how skilled your population may be or educated, or how many bars of gold you may have in the central bank, if measures are adopted that hinder the free functioning of markets, free competition, free price systems, if you hinder trade, if you attack private property, the only possible fate is poverty....

"Today, states don't need to directly control the means of production to control every aspect of the lives of individuals, with tools such printing money, debt, subsidies, controlling the interest rate, price controls, and regulations to correct so-called market failures. They can control the lives and fates of millions of individuals....

"A good deal of the generally accepted political [positions] in most Western countries are collectivist variants, whether they proclaim to be openly communists, fascists, Nazis, socialists, social Democrats, National Socialists, Democrat Christians, or Christian Democrats.

"They are neo-Keynesians, progressive, populist, nationalist or globalists at bottom. There are no major differences. They all say that the state should steer all aspects of the lives of individuals. They all defend a model contrary to the one that led humanity to the most spectacular progress in its history.

"We have come here today to invite the rest of the countries in the Western world to get back on the path of prosperity, economic freedom, limited government...and unlimited respect for private property....

"The impoverishment produced by collectivism is no fantasy, nor is it an inescapable fate. But it's a reality that we Argentines know very well. We have lived through this. We have been through this because, as I said earlier, ever since we decided to abandon the model of freedom that had made us rich, we have been caught up in a downward spiral, as part of which we are poorer and poorer day by day....

"In concluding, I would like to leave a message for all businesspeople here and for those who are not here in person but are following from around the world. Do not be intimidated, either by the political caste or by parasites who live off the state. Do not surrender to a political class that only wants to stay in power and retain its privileges.

"You are social benefactors. You are heroes. You're the creators of the most extraordinary period of prosperity we've ever seen. Let no one tell you that your ambition is immoral. If you make money, it's because you offer a better product at a better price, thereby contributing to general well-being.

"Do not surrender to the advance of the state. The state is not the solution. The state is the problem itself. You are the true protagonists of this story and rest assured that as from today, Argentina is your staunch, unconditional ally."

So yes, it's fine to speak at the World Economic Forum, as long as you smash them as wicked parasites whose program leads to impoverishment, as Milei just did.

North Vietnam had Ho Chih Minh.

I have Ho Lee Crap.

If this wasn't a put-on, then all I can say is wow. That guy got up in the faces of the sharks and played the banjo on their asses. If this is on the level, I see civil war as a distinct possibility in Argentina's near future. I see no way Theye will be able to allow this slap to their unwashed vaginas to stand unanswered. This is the best thing I've seen in a long year, and am having some difficulty wrapping my head around it. This is the sort of wildly stupid thing I would do, not because I'm brave, but because I don't have the sense to shut it in the presence of very dangerous enemies. I can only respect this man's sheer brass, as well as the truth that he has spoke there. I stand in ovation and hope and pray he will be able to carry forth on his visions. This has lightened an otherwise dark day as my mom is on short final.

God bless all like him. There may be hope yet.

He's fucking nuking them.

I could cry tears of joy.

Schwab is sweating.

May his arteries all burst at once.

"Do not be intimidated either by the political class or by parasites who live off the state, do not surrender to a political class that only wants to stay in power and retain its privileges."

"Do not surrender to the advance of the state, the state is not the solution, the state is the problem itself"

GOD DAYUM

What the both of you said.

This tells me something vital: they are too confident... so much so, they allowed this man to step up to a microphone before their coveted audience, unvetted. Or did they "vet" him, only to have him pull a fast one on them at the very last moment? Or were they playing their game of attempting to appear "fair and balanced", as Fox used to be fond of claiming... "oooOOoooo... everybody look at uuuuUUUUuuus... we're inCLUsive...", only to have it blow up in their faces in a hugely inconvenient way. This was a grave error in any event, but the question stands whether it will cause WEF and cosa loro any real problems. I bet Schwab was fit to be tied as this unfolded before his glazed eyes, though.

Will this be so much as mentioned in the media? Forsooth do I doubt it.

I'd also bet they will not make this error a second time. But who knows... once may be one time too many. This cannot be good for Themme.

WEF's game is crystal clear – it’s about shifting power from governments to corporate giants, all controlled by the same global elite. Look at the German farmers protesting, they see the truth. Pushing us to eat bugs instead of real meat? Humanity is under siege from all angles. It's a farce of freedom and justice, just a smokescreen for the few to tighten their grip while we're fed crumbs. It's not about what's good for us, it's about what's profitable for them. #WakeUp
