Here's an article from 2008, showing what would have been possible if half of the "supporters" the polls estimated there were had bothered to show up:

This time, with at least four times the base there was in 2008 to work from - and assuming the average Ron Paul person is more motivated than the "at least my guy isn't Obama" folks - the primaries should be a cinch, right?
And no one's saying it's against their principles to participate in "the system," as was heard all to often back then?
"Set him up and shoot him down," was about the way it had looked. I hope there won't be a repeat.
