Michael Badnarik, 2004 Libertarian presidential candidate and self-proclaimed "Stepfather of the Constitution", announced today, that his program will end on WTPRN tomorrow. The show will resume on GCN on Monday, October 20, 2008 A. D. The time will shift from the morning to 9:00 P. M. to 11:00 P. M. CT. The lure was the larger audience of GCN via satellite distribution. WTPRN has announced no replacement program.

I'm very disappointed in WTPRN, but this is a great move for Michael and I'm happy for him. It will suck getting up in the morning and not being able to hear his music "Wake Up America, your country needs you!" I doubt that WTPRN is going to replace him with anything, it seems that they have no problems playing re-broadcasts.

Ever since the people on that boring show "The Rule of Law" took over, it has been a downward decline. If they keep replacing all of their great shows with people from Austin who love to talk about Austin-related politics, they are going to isolate themselves from the rest of the country. Perhaps that's the intent.

Badnarik brought some heavy hitting sponsors to the network, so I wonder what's going to happen on that front.
