Well I have no reason to believe the latter, but Massie has given me a reason to believe the former. I wouldn't expect Massie to say that he believes Trump would do a thing, if he didn't believe it himself.

As most of you know, I was a few delegates short of becoming the VP candidate on the LP ticket. When I tell you how hard this decision has been for me, trust me, it has been brutally hard

I mulled this over for at least 6 mos, forgive the rant

I'm voting for Trump. Here's why:

I've been covering the news full time on my show for 4+ years now and in that time I've seen things I never thought possible

The first thing that actually inspired me on this path was the lockdowns. I lived in California and they were unbearable. My anger towards Trump for failing to see Fauci for the monstrous and criminal fraud that he is has not dissipated. The lockdowns, mandates and divisive propaganda during that period were like living thru a dystopic novel. The $ printing of 2020 was the single worst act of financial malpractice I've ever witnessed. The inflation we suffer from today is in large part a direct consequence of that idiocy. So, why Trump?

Despite not being a supporter of his in 16' or 20' (voted libertarian) I was still watching carefully as the Russian collusion hoax took form. They proceeded to spy on his campaign (thanks Hillary), frame him for treason, impeach him on nonsense (twice), frame his supporters (Whitmer hoax), then brutalize his supporters with trumped up charges and a thousand+ years of jail despite the vast majority being peaceful (J6). Biden even bragged about the obscene sentencing during the DNC speech. Unreal.

During his infamous and ominous "red backdrop" speech he made it clear that not only Trump supporters but any non-Democrat was about to be hunted.

The contrast between the years long J6 coverage and prosecutions and the tepid response and largely media endorsed riots for many months during the summer of 2020 made the political prosecution blatantly obvious.

Then they weaponized the justice system and had Trump facing 700+ years in prison on garbage.

In the past 100 days there has been two attempts made on his life and the circumstances of both events left me convinced that the federal government is either involved or they are, at minimum, allowing it to happen.

If you can believe it, even with all that, I was still not going to vote for Trump. That's how pissed I am about the lockdown era.

What finally pushed me over the edge was watching the mushroom cloud rise over Russian territory last month.

Even Joe Biden understood that there is a point of no return when it comes to these escalations between NATO and Russia. This is why he refused to send F-16's or long range missile systems for the first two years of the war in Ukraine. He has now caved on both, feckless dotard that he is.

Biden and Blinken went to Ukraine and greenlit Storm Shadow missile systems (capable of reaching Moscow) and long-range targeting approval. Both of which have been explicitly described by Putin as a trigger for direct war between NATO and Russia.

The tensions between Russia and the US are actually higher than they were during the Cuban Missile Crisis but if you turn on the news it's like it's not even happening.

In the past, they at least respected the American people enough to propagandize us into unnecessary, illegal, unconstitutional wars. Now they don't even bother. My disdain for the media and the ruling class to which they serve has reached heights I never thought possible. These people are insane or evil or both.

Kamala Harris has promised as recently as 2019 that she would do mandatory gun buybacks (read: gun bans and confiscation). Ban fracking. Double down on racist and regressive DEI/ESG programs which are tearing us apart. During the debate she even said that the censorship regime they illegaly ran on us in 2021 would be continued and expanded. She said she will continue the war in Ukraine and has no interest in peace aside from the delusional demands that Russia simply leaves.

She is the least impressive person I've ever seen in American politics and

I watched George W. Bush bumble his way thru the entire disastrous war on terror while Dick Cheney was shooting his hunting buddy in the face. Low bar!

The way they unceremoniously ousted Biden while the party of "defending democracy" along with their dutiful media apparatchiks circled the wagons and pretended in unison that she was suddenly great and this was all normal, tells me definitively that she is the chosen one. The regime's had picked puppet. If they want a war, she will give it to them.

To Trump's credit, he has been consistently pushing for peace. He claims he can bring that war quickly to an end and I will hold him to that promise. It is the most urgent crisis we face and he really is the only viable hope that we may avoid a world war.

To me, nothing else matters if we don't find a pathway towards peace.

Lastly, his embrace of dissidents, former democrats, independents and his promise to put a libertarian in his cabinet makes me optimistic that his 2nd term will not suffer the mistakes of the first. If he deploys Vivek to demolish the bureaucracy, RFK to clean up HHS, Tulsi to pursue peace, and the libertarian to abolish the Dep of Education and fix our failing school system; it will easily be the most successful presidency in my lifetime. Throw in a little advice from Thomas Massie and we could possibly get our financial house in order.

I will never be a yes man. I will never ignore his mistakes. I will applaud him when he does right and call him out when he does wrong. Most importantly, I will tell the truth. Something the corporate media seems alergic to.

We don't need more sycophants.
We need honesty and action.

Donald J Trump, with all sincerity, I wish you luck. Our country hangs in the balance.

You asked for a libertarian+MAGA alliance and I am accepting your offer. You want to drain the swamp, grow the economy and end the wars. Me too.

Be courageous and surround yourself with outsiders that can match that energy. They will assist you in defeating the machine.

That's true. They are coming for all of us and we all need to set our differences aside if we're gonna defeat this machine. So that's what I'm doing.

Agreed. All that endorsement did to me was prove that no matter how good a person may be, politics/government never was/is/will be the solution.

Rather than reject Trump publicly to try to bring about awareness and urge his constituents to make better "choices", Massie just convinced them to settle for the worse of the worse and with "honorable" praise. And the people flock and buy it up as if it's something positive or of value.

In general I'm not sure what Rand and Massie are trying to accomplish. I guess Massie is trying to accomplish small but achievable goals - e.g., Ross Ulbricht. Which is definitely a good thing, but small achievable goals isn't what we really need right now. (though I'm sure Ross would not consider it a "small" goal)

Rand and Massie should indeed be urging their constituents to make better choices... regarding secession. They should be ramping that rhetoric up way past 11, instead it's basically at 0... which is just like, ugh. A bit disappointing.

Massie did it because as a member of the republican party he certainly cannot endorse a democrat for president.

I do not "follow the leader" or "take one for the team". I will never, in any way, shape or form, ever endorse or support Donald J Trumptard.

If you feel that you must, just because somebody else did or said so, by all means, do what you want.
