Many Killed as Ukraine Invades Protest City of Slovyansk

Calls for a negotiated settlement appear to have been in vain, and Ukraine’s military has attacked the eastern city of Slovyansk, which has for weeks been held by protesters demanding reforms for the unelected interim government.

Death tolls are still uncertain in the ongoing invasion, but the troops met resistance from a pro-protester militia, and at least two soldiers were killed in the fighting. Interim President Oleksandr Turchinov bragged that “many insurgents” were also killed.

In addition to the fighting on the ground, the militia also shot down a pair of Ukrainian military helicopters, capturing one of the pilots. Video of the downing of one of the helicopters showed it hit by a surface-to-air missile.

They burned 40 people alive in a building in Odessa,even beating people that would jump from the windows to save them self's.What the media writes here is that the local Oligarch bribed the local football hooligans and now the entire city is a battleground between them + Right Sector on one side and the pro-Russians on the other. At the start the pro-Russians killed a few of the pro-Kiev protesters but then with the hooligans help they were beaten badly and the people in their camp forced into the commerce union building which was then set on fire.

I really don't understand how burning 40 people alive will help the Kiev government pacify the city,if nothing else they just upped the stakes to win or die.

For one Assad has no reason to do this to his citizens. He knows the western world is watching and are looking for a good reason to intervene. Saddam on the other hand was able to gas his people because the US supplied the weapons and let him do it. The same is happening here, we have given the Coup govt our blessing to use military force on eastern Ukrainian anti govt people where as we threatened sanction on the last legitimate govt for sending police out with just tear gas.

It is not only the nazi's that started this .Everyone started this.It happened in the 90`s in the Balkans and just took a little longer to come to Ukraine.It will just keep on escalating while everyone blames the other side that they started it.It is really like watching a re-run.

-Local militias under no ones command
-Government militias made up from criminals and led by people who are mostly interested in pillaging and making money
-An army that is in total confusion and does not know what to do,except for a few generals who seek glory and promotions
-Local oligarchs making private armies and starting turf wars and eliminating local oppositions
-Extremists and sociopaths thriving because every side want's to hire them
-Bread and fuel lines
-Black market dealers ,war profiteers and loan sharks to skin the population to the bone
-All that remains is foreign "peace" keepers to fully develop the prostitution and drugs industries ( not that Ukraine lacked development in that sector even before )


Almost everything on the list is either checked or will be in the near future.

The USA started a coup in Ukraine to help Europe with it's NatGas problem and it totally blew up in their face. Then earlier this week the IMF approved a 17billion dollar loan which was contingent upon the Ukraine not breaking into 2 (gee, coincidence they agressively started killing Eastern Ukrianians today?) It's ALL A SETUP to get Putin to make the first move (because Americans are too fucking ignorant to see WE made the first move with the CIA led Coup in February) and give Obama the fuel to send troops over there like the moron he is.

Markets then tank, the financial warfare between US, RUS, and CHI starts to go into full swing, and the bankers get to blame all of it on the War instead of it being put squarely where it belongs - the FED and the FAILED QE programs of the last 5 years. Brother, this is the liberty movement. Someone asking you for a source is just as likely to be calling you a liar as they are to agree with you 100% and just want solid sources to share.... so there is a pretty good chance that you have misinterpreted his motives.

A nice example in the US of what it deteriorates into. Militia and OK turning on each other in the desert of NV. They couldnt even last a month before turning on each other.
