I'm interested in reading books about how user-driven websites like Youtube, and consumer-connecting apps like those used by Uber, are leading to human flourishing and increased prosperity/quality of life...especially when this growth happens in spite of the state, which may attempt to repress it (applying hotel regulations to airbnb, for instance). I've seen Future Perfect tauted, but a libertarian author on goodreads wasn't particularly impressed. Books like Progress: Ten Reason to Look Forward to the Future, Future Perfect, that sort of thing is what I have in mind. I'm interested in these books in part because they give liberty-minded folk a way to appeal to the common sense of progressives and conservatives, planting little seeds that Planning and Control are always the Greatest Thing Ever. Counter-brainwashing via innocent yet interesting books, that's the plan.
