We have the best positioning of any candidate democrat or republican in the 24 hours leading up to the caucus. Paul will be on Larry King live this evening which, if my stereotype is accurate, would be a very popular show among conservative Iowans. Perhaps Iowans can interject here to support or disagree with this comment.[The Larry King appearance IS on for tonight(1/2/08)]
Most importantly however is the rally tonight. A veterans rally. What better event can you ask for to motivate a conservative base? The young and old gathered together of sound mind. This crowd is going to be fantastic and local media outlets will be streaming this all across the the state of Iowa. I'll bet 35% of Iowa hears about this Rally prior to the caucus. I'm looking for a knock out speech from Ron Paul.
Paul is a scholar and a superb speech writer with words backed up by a fiery passion. To me it just feels like the sort of event where all things coincide to make for an historic occasion.

Larry King is a BRILLIANT interviewer, he doesn't shout ANYONE down, he doesn't cut the mic... he ASKS QUESTIONS... he doesn't make points... he's a legit, non bought and paid for, non shill, stand-up guy!

Expect him to ask questions that are tough, but fair. Expect him to give Ron Paul more time than ANYONE has at this point, if it's a full hour, expect 45 minutes of Ron Paul talking about his positions. This is an EXCELLENT opportunity!
 
Perhaps I was wrong about the Larry King appearance. I will edit the OP until this is confirmed.
 
OP updated. Ron Paul will be appearing on Larry King live on the 3rd prior to the caucus. Sorry for the mistake.
 
umm, if it's not happening tonight, how could Cspan cover it... I thought it was happening on the 3RD???

I will tune in and find out. Thanks for the heads up. I'm a bit hot headed today... so pissed at the pessimism.. we're going to win Iowa, damnit!
 
Apparently Kent said it's tonight at 6 for half an hour, but he isn't on then.
 
Is this going to be played tonight is the question. 6:30 Central isn't when Larry King is on Central Time. He's on at 8.
