Ok, so I voted today in the primaries, and I did not know any of the people running for judge or board of education.

In school we don't learn about local politics, only politics at the national level.

Its actually pretty hard to find information on local candidates.

We all know why this is, but how to remedy the situation? How do we convince others: LOCAL ELECTIONS MATTER, and how to pay attention to the elections?

I would say that you are not likely to convince a wider audience that local elections matter. You need to convince the people already involved that your cause is better.
