Lindsey Graham Isn't Sure If Bloggers Deserve 'First Amendment Protection'

Speaking to reporters Tuesday, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., took on the issue—and stumbled.
"Who is a journalist is a question we need to ask ourselves," he said. "Is any blogger out there saying anything—do they deserve First Amendment protection? These are the issues of our times."

Seriously, have any of these freaking people ever actually bothered to read any of our Bill of Rights? There are two separate aspects addressed within this relative context, those being: (1) freedom of speech (i.e., personal choice, expression, feeling, thought, etc.) and (2) all such aforementioned freedoms apply as well to the 'press'—so long as such freedoms are exercised as reasonable within whatever TPM restrictions.


ETA: We should all be taking serious issue that the common arguments being made by our highly ineloquent and inept representatives revolve around the “shut up” defense.
