Neocon Limbaugh is enraged over the The US National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) report results yesterday and today on his show. Coming to the defense of Bush and his war mongering policy against Iran. He says "whats wrong with protecting the free flow of oil at market prices"(read *interfering with the rights of other nations and threating them for our own self interests*). The problem he says "is our devotion to ignorance", in other words anyone who is against the Bush oil/Iran nuclear policy is ignorant. Give it up Limbaugh, your buddies Bush & Cheney are on the losing side now that can't attack Iran so easily.

I flipped on Rush for a couple minutes while I ran out for lunch. He is definitely spinning things hard for his war mongering neocon buddies.

He said the only reason the democrats believe the report is because it supports their position. Implying that the Repubs wouldn't do the same thing if the shoe was on the other foot. Ridiculous!

He was also saying one of the guys on the committee had an axe to grind with GWB :p

I think an antiwar caller called in today. I caught the call in the middle when I got into my vehicle so I didn't hear the whole thing. Anyway the point the caller was trying to make was that the Middle East can settle its own problems without us. Rush responses by stating the threat of Iran to Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States.... how they are defenseless. The caller then correctly points out that these nations are wealthy with their oil revenues and could afford to buy their own Armies. Good old Rush wasn't for hearing that and cut the caller off. After which he went for a few minutes about how ignorant the caller was....democrats bad...and something about protecting our nation interests.
It seems Rush has no problem using the Military to secure the oil of the Middle East. He advocates the old Mercantile System to protect the oil. Even if what he says about Iran wanting to take over the entire Middle East Oil Supply is true, then surly the Arabs would fight to protect their lands from the Iranians. Also even if the oil is disrupted then the market will react. Entrepreneurs will find new ways to meet our energy needs. Maybe the status quo for our energy is not the best way to go. How can we know? I think getting the government(including the military) out of energy in the domestic and foreign arena's will better the situation.
I want a free market not war to secure our energy.

I suspect there are reasons in addition to oil for Bush so badly wanting to attack Iran. If Bush and the neocons had their way we'd be in a constant state of war to wear down this country till it exhasts all its resources and finances. This will help speed up the CFR/UN's plan to make the USA equal in status to a 2nd or 3rd world country.
Iran will never be able to take over the middle east and control oil with Israel and its nuclear capability.
I noticed whenever Limbaugh hears someone make a good point that contradicts his he gets mad and cuts them off and starts babling the same old lines about the democrats he's always used. Maybe he's not aware or willing to admit there are many republicans and independents who don't believe what he and the neocons believe, not just the liberal democrats. soon after one of these callers confronts him he usually finds another caller right away who will get on and tell him how great he his.

Yeah that usually the way the show goes. I wish he would attack the neocons as much as the democrats, then his show would be much more informative. I guess he knows that if he strays away from the Bush is Great Cult, then he can kiss the Republican establishment good bye and loss all his fame. I'm sure there are many that would love take his place.

He is a conspiricy theorist. He said that each one of the intellinece agencies, which are numerous, fudged the results for political reasons. So he thinks that these intelligence agencies are covering up for Iran (comitting treason) just so the democrats win. Incredible.
