While Justin Amash and Ted Cruz endorsed Marilinda Garcia for NH Congressional District 2, LibertyBallot.com recommends Jim Lawrence because he is the smallest government candidate. Rep. Garcia has voted well year after year. Plus she made a major breakthrough this year by supporting the decriminalization of marijuana. Still, Jim Lawrence is clearly the most small government candidate in the race. Though, Rep. Amash endorsed Garcia, because even though she isn't the most pro-liberty candidate in the race, she is substantially more pro-liberty than the average Congresscritter and is very likely to win the race.

I don't hold it against Rep. Amash that he supports Garcia, even if she clearly isn't the best candidate in the race. She is substantially above the average Congresscritter and not a bad endorsement. The same goes for Cruz. This is a very unique race in that the establishment pick is also endorsed by Amash and Cruz.
