Boortz isn't going to waiver on his pro-war stance. He's pretty hardcore about crushing "Islamic fascism". I'll give Neal credit for turning me onto the Libertarian party as well as Ayn Rand but he lost me with his support for Bush and Bush's war.
From Neal's Nuze:
"I've been a member of the Libertarian Party for about (I think) ten years now. They don't like me very much right now. In fact, I'm called a "phony libertarian" by many. Why? One reason ... I support the war against Islamic fascism. I actually see the wisdom in taking the fight to them over there before the bring the fight to us on our own soil. I recognize the dangers of showing weakness to the Islamic murderers. I'm convinced that the only way to deal with Islamic fascism is to defeat it on the battlefield -- thoroughly and convincingly."
"I'm really not making any plans to address the Libertarian National Convention next year. I think that's smart, don't you?"
Earlier many of you heard Rush say he did not think RP could win after the late May debate. However, on his show he was rambling about how the to tier got tons of time and the second tier (and yes he mentioned RP!) should have been give more time as they have conservative ideas. So, Rush may not be a full supporter but he may turn out to stop carrying the water for the neo cons. It should be interesting the day he announces that. I see it coming

I hear ya. I still love listening to him but it grieves me when he goes on one of his Islamo rants.
Interestingly, he's become ultra rabid in his war stance since his, Hannity's and Laura Ingraham's visit to the White House. I sure would have loved to be a fly on the wall (or on Laura ;0)
